Does anything good result from a life that is given over to sin?

Kevin Swanson explains in this video that sin is not enjoyable. Sin results in a lack of peace. Sin ruins our relationships. In fact, sin ruins and corrupts every element of our lives. In short, there is no good that comes from a life of sin.

In contrast, when we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive the fruits of the Spirit. It is a joyful, fulfilling experience to walk in the Spirit as opposed to walking in the flesh. It is where we want to be as Christians. And yet, sadly, countless people wrongly believe that the better life is lived by indulging in sin and all the world has to offer. For Christians, the best is yet to come – eternal life.

Romans 6:23 (NKJV) – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Sin is not enjoyable. Sin is a bummer. Sin is a lack of peace. Sin is contamination. Sin is ruining of our relationships.

Sin ruins every element of our lives. It's corrupting. But when we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive this wonderful gift of love and joy and peace and longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. Yes, it's a joyful, fulfilling, Beautiful experience to walk in the Spirit versus walking in the flesh. It's where we want to be as Christians.
