Look at all the Old Testament great saints. They all had it, right? Moses, presence of God. God, look at God's face much less, his back parts, you know. And then you've got Isaiah, Isaiah 6, filled with the majesty and fear of God.

You've got Joseph. You can use all these examples for children. How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? Because the fear of God was there. And in the New Testament you find the same type of thing.

Peter, Jesus comes and Peter wants to serve him and wants, gives up all and follows him. Getty says, depart from me, oh Lord, from a sinful man. There's this tremendous tension between the awe he feels for God and the desire he has for the intimacy of God.
