Joel Beeke explains in this video that the Great Commission is to bring the Gospel to all people on the face of the earth and to see every unconverted person as a mission field. We must tell the lost that our Savior is able to save even the greatest of sinners and that they are called to repent and believe the Gospel.
Romans 1:16 (NKJV) - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."
Our Lord's last command is our first priority. In the church, in the family, in the city, to the ends of the earth. Join us in October for White Under Harvest. Well, the Great Commission is to bring the gospel to everyone on the face of the earth and to see every unconverted person as a mission field. And the gospel, of course, is he who knew no sin became sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
In other words, Jesus Christ came to do everything for us, we who could do nothing. And so we must bring that to everyone that our Savior is able and willing to save the greatest of sinners and they are called to repent and to believe that gospel with all their mind, with all their heart, with all their soul, with all their strength.
