Yet, I would like to offer a word of caution, In responding to concerns about their local churches' age segregated youth and adult programs, some parents may over react and become disconnected or even divisive in their local churches. They may even abandon the local church all together. These ungodly responses only add more sin and confusion. The Church is the bride and the body of Christ. This means that faithfulness and involvement in a local church is an integral part of walking with Christ. This is why one aspect of our mission at the NCFIC is to use scripture to show God's wonderful design for building harmony between churches and families, not dislocation.

Our prayer is that the resources you find here will point you to scripture to discover a rich and fruitful pattern of church and family life that is defined by love, faithfulness, obedience, and unity. After many decades of innovation and creativity in our church programs, it is time to return to scripture and fulfill God’s design for discipleship.

Parents, welcome to the NCFIC website where you'll find a vision of hope for your family. This is a roadmap for how to build unity in your family and harmony with your local church. Now the first step in this direction is establishing the supremacy of Christ over all things in your life, that only He is able to define what kind of church and what kind of family life is right. This is the foundation of everything you're going to find on this website. In a world where almost every institution in our society either inadvertently or deliberately fragments the family, here you'll find a biblical vision of unity rather than fragmentation.

It's a vision of intimacy rather than disconnection. It's a vision of family and church partnership rather than independence. It's a vision of wholehearted involvement in a local church rather than the church on the periphery of your life. You will find dozens of articles and audio resources to help you recapture the biblical functionality of your family, the roles of fatherhood and of motherhood, the roles of children in the home, the role of family worship, the role of the church in your family life. The first thing you should do is go check out our confession for Uniting Church and Family, where you'll get the basic principles we're promoting.

We'll show you how to break the cycle of alienation through walking with your children in church life and in family life. You'll find a blog that speaks to the issues of church and family life. We'll help you to recover a unified vision for family discipleship and worship. We'll coach you on how to break the cycle of diminishing the importance of local church life. Our prayer is that the resources on this website will assist you to understand how your family ought to function as a spiritual greenhouse in relation to the church and the community and also to explain how the church can be a blessing to your family.
