Today, the world needs a new kind of father. Fatherhood is too broken to rely on what has been. We need men to be different kinds of fathers than they are today. Different from their own fathers, different from their friends, different from the cultural patterns of fatherhood. We need a new kind of father.

And I'm going around the country this year to recruit a different kind of father. I want to explain what he looks like in Scripture. I want to challenge men to rise to the occasion. You can change a whole society by changing fathers. You can change the course of history by changing what fathers do with their lives, but most importantly, you can rescue a generation.

I've never met a man who did not want to be a great father. But all the desire and emotion and accountability partners in this world is not enough to make him one. A man needs a good roadmap, and the only roadmap that's reliable comes from Holy scripture. Thankfully, fathers do not have to figure it out on their own. God provides it.

No man needs to go through years of trial and error to find the biblical roadmap for fatherhood. Join me in 2013 for a revolution of fathers. We need a new kind of father.
