How can a sinful man be made right with a holy God? The greatest problem in all the universe, humanity's sinful rebellion against God, is solved by the greatest display of love in all the universe. This is the gospel, the good news: God has given his Son as a substitute for sinners and extends mercy and grace to all who trust in Jesus. By first taking on the sin of all who would ever believe and dying in their place, Jesus is able to give believers his perfect righteousness so that they stand guiltless before God. This good news is the greatest news in history and should overwhelm us with joy and amazement and drive us to make this gospel known in all the world.
