Preaching the Gospel in the Battle Zone of the Abortion Clinic by Jim Zes. Abortion is an abomination to our God. Children, made in the image of God, are being murdered every day. Does standing outside work? What is it like?
The National Center for Family Integrated Churches welcomes Jim Zeese with the following message entitled, Preaching the Gospel in the battle zone of the abortion clinic. Good morning. It's a great privilege and honor to be here this morning. Would you join me in prayer? Father in Heaven, thank you, Lord, for your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
We come to you in his name. Lord we pray that everything said and done here this morning would be glorifying and honoring to you. In Christ's name we pray, Amen. Well my family and I have been going to the abortion clinics for a number of years. There was a time when we used to go every Saturday morning.
And I'd like to talk to you a little bit about our family's experiences of going to the abortion clinics. Back in November of 1998, we met this family and they were going to the abortion clinics and they invited our family to go with them. Well we didn't really know anybody went to the abortion clinics, but we decided to join them. So early on a Saturday morning, we got up early and headed for the abortion clinic. It was a planned parenthood.
We got there at 6 AM and we got there that early because the abortion workers would get there at 6.30 in the morning. And we wanted to, this other family told us, get there early, that way you'd have an opportunity to talk to the abortion workers before they went in the building. Well, we stood outside on the sidewalk for a number of hours that morning, and we saw about 30 mothers that were expecting that were pregnant go in for an abortion. Some of them had their boyfriend or their husband with them or a girlfriend with them. They usually had somebody with them.
We found out later that was because after an abortion they would need someone to help them out to their car and drive them home. Many of these mothers, as they got out of their car, they just casually walked into the clinic like they were going to the shopping mall. Most of them were escorted into Planned Parenthood by what are called clinic escorts. We call them deskorts. As soon as a car pulls into the clinic parking lot, these deskorts rush over to the car like vultures, and they try to make the mothers feel comfortable, like they're doing the right thing, and walk them into the clinic.
And whenever I see that, I'm always reminded of Isaiah 59 7, where the prophet Isaiah said this about people who are separated from God. Isaiah 59 7 says, their feet run to evil and they make haste to shed innocent blood. It was like these escorts could not wait to get over to these people, these mothers, and walk them into the building. That verse truly is a picture of these discords. The reason they do this is, they go over to the mothers, is to distract the mothers because usually there's pro-life people out on the sidewalk and you have between 10 and 20 seconds to call out to the mothers before they walk into the clinic.
And during that 10 to 20 seconds, you have to preach the Word of God and try to get them to change their minds. Well for me, it's one thing to hear about abortion in America, but to actually see mothers going into the clinic to murder their own flesh and blood was quite shocking. Was quite shocking. These mothers went in, and a few hours later they came out. When they come out, they don't look very good.
They're usually a clinic worker and their friend on each side of them, walking them back to the car. We've seen them throw up in the parking lot. Typically, as soon as they get in their car, the first thing they do is they take their seat. They're usually sitting in the shotgun seat. They take the seat and they put it all the way back and they put their hands over their face.
So I'm standing out in front of the clinic this very first time, And I thought to myself, this place truly is a death camp. Little boys and little girls are being murdered inside this building. I could not believe it. What really struck me was all the hustle and bustle of the city going on all around us. There was a lot of traffic, many people were on their way to work, some were going shopping.
Everything appeared normal in our city. But less than a hundred feet away from me, innocent blood was being shed. It seemed as if no one cared that little children with beating hearts were being murdered. That day when I left, I felt like someone had hit me in the gut with a 2x4. My stomach was in a knot and I didn't feel very good.
By the way, I feel that way every time I'm at the clinic and when I leave there. I was sick over what was happening in our nation. For many years after that, my family and I continued to go to the clinic. We went because we realized abortion is an abomination to our God. And it was occurring during our watch and in our city.
Innocent blood was being shed. We did not want to sit idly by while children made in the image of God were being murdered. We wanted to use everything in our spiritual arsenal that God had given us to fight against this Holocaust. So when we went to the clinic, we would sing hymns, we would pray, we would read the scriptures out loud, and I would preach the Word of God. All the things we love to do at church, we would do on the sidewalk there in front of the clinic.
We would have worship on the sidewalk. Something else you need to know about going to the clinic. It's a family ministry. It's not dad's ministry. It's not mom's ministry.
We believe you go to the clinic as a family. It's a family ministry. So if you're looking for a family ministry to advance the kingdom of God, go to the abortion clinic. My main goal in going to the abortion clinic is to preach the word of God. Don't get me wrong, we want to see children saved.
We want to see them keep from getting murdered. We hope the mothers will change their minds going into the clinic. We pray that abortion would end in America, but our main purpose in going to the clinic is to call upon these mothers and these abortion workers to repent and turn to Christ. We as Christians have to advance God's kingdom by proclaiming God's truth. Like the prophets of old, we must tell the world what is right and what is wrong.
We must expose these mothers and these abortion workers to their sin and show them their need for Christ. We are to present both the law of God and the grace of God. Our hearts desire is that these lost people, these lost souls that are dead in their sins will be saved. I didn't become a Christian until I was 39 years old. Before then I was pro-choice and pro-abortion.
I was one of those people who would mock pro-life people standing in front of clinics. It's only by the grace of God that God has changed my heart and the way I view abortion. And for that I'm very thankful. It's easy for me to have compassion on those workers. What I see at the abortion clinic, there's a stark difference between good and evil.
And we must have the courage to stand up and tell these mothers and these people who are working there and the escorts, the police, everybody that's around there that abortion is wrong. I remember one morning I was standing out in front of Planned parenthood and a car stopped on the side of the road right beside me. There was a young woman in the car. She rolled down her window and she asked me a question. I'll never forget her question.
She said, can you tell me is it really a baby? I didn't even know what her situation was, and I said yes, it is a baby. She said, You mean it's not just a blob of tissue? I said, no, your child has a beating heart after 21 days. She told me she thought she was pregnant.
Then she just started crying. She was sobbing. She said she was 19, she was in college, and she was living with her mother. She was in a very difficult situation. Her mother had sent her to the abortion clinic and told her if she didn't have the abortion, she was going to kick her out of the house and quit paying for her college.
This young woman was looking for someone to tell her that abortion was wrong. Her friends and her mother told her the right thing to do was have this abortion. After all, she had important things to do. She had her career. She had to first get her college degree.
She didn't have time to take care of a baby. She felt she had no choice but to have an abortion. Then she told me something really interesting. She said that she had come to the abortion clinic the Saturday before. As she pulled up to the clinic she saw us out front, a bunch of pro-life people standing on the sidewalk.
She did not pull into the clinic, instead she circled around the clinic a couple times, she drove around the block, and then she went home. And when her mother came home from work, she asked her daughter, well how did the abortion go, what happened? Her daughter, this young woman said, I didn't do it. Her mother had a fit. Her mother sent her back on this Saturday and told her this was her last chance, she had to have the abortion today.
Well she said to her, so she headed off for the clinic. She said on the way over she told herself, if those people are out front again, I'm going to stop and talk to them. And That's why she pulled over to the curb and started talking with me. Well, by this time, some other pro-life people came over, some pro-life ladies. They began talking with her and counseling her.
The pro-life community loved on her, and she ended up having her baby. We banded together to help her. Here was a young woman who changed her mind because the church, the people of God, were in front of the clinic proclaiming the truth of God's word. Here's something important to know if you do decide to go to the abortion clinics. It's not something you take lightly.
You should count the cost. It takes a lot of time and effort. It messes up your schedule. You should go prayerfully and be willing to put actions behind your words. If these mothers do change their minds and decide to keep their baby, then you must be willing to help them and show them the love of Christ.
Our family learned that firsthand. On a Friday morning, it was a good Friday, I was off work that day so we headed on down to the clinic, planned parenthood. A young woman did not drive there. She walked up to the clinic. My wife began talking with her.
And this young woman wasn't sure what she was going to do. So we took her to the pregnancy resource center, which was a couple blocks away. It's a pro-life center. Ironically, they were closed that Saturday morning. So my wife took her out to breakfast.
This young woman told us that she had a six month old son and now she was pregnant again. After talking with her, we could see that her heart was tender towards the Lord. And She did have a desire to do the right thing. She was just unsure about what she should do. So we gave her our phone number and we told her to call us if she needed anything.
I think my wife gave her a ride home. Over the next few days, my wife talked with her several times on the phone, and we could see that God was working in her heart. But this young woman was having a very hard time at home. One of the sad things about her situation was that even her pastor was telling her to get an abortion. She didn't have time for another baby now.
A few days later, her and her six-month-old son moved in with us, and they stayed in our home a short while. We ministered to her the best way we knew how, and we showed her the love of Christ, and she ended up having her baby. At the clinic, we see very few victories. Most women do not change their minds, but sometimes God is gracious and he does allow us to see the fruit of our works. Studies have been done that show that there is a small percentage of women when they see people in front, The pro-choice people call us protesters, but we say we're preaching the gospel and exercising our First Amendment rights.
But when mothers come to the clinic and they see people out front proclaiming God's word, saying that it is wrong, I've seen statistics saying about one-fourth of the mothers don't go in, they change their minds, and they go on home. The Church of Jesus Christ is to show up at the gates of hell. The gates of hell are in a defensive position and the abortion clinic, believe me, is a gate of hell. In Matthew 16-18, Christ told his disciples that he would build his church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it. What you have to realize is there's a battle going on at these clinics.
It's a battle between good and evil. As Christians, we know the Word of God says that Satan wants to kill, steal, and destroy. What's happening right at those abortion clinics? We as Christians don't make that connection. The abortion clinic is a battle zone.
It's a place where Satan is killing, stealing, and destroying. When a woman has an abortion, it affects her, the father and the child. The church is to show up at the gates of hell and proclaim that Jesus is Lord and His law reigns. The way God works in history is that He works through His people to advance His kingdom. That means we are to get out and proclaim the gospel.
We as Christians are not to be isolationists. I know as homeschool families we want to protect our children and train them, But we have to teach our children to be able to engage the culture. And proclaiming the gospel should be a part of who you are, part of who your family is. You must train your children for warfare. When you become a Christian, did you know you're in a war?
Satan is at war with Christians. Revelation 12 17 says that Satan went off to make war with those that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. You might not think you're in a war, but Satan is at war with you. We as the people of God need to learn to stand for Christ, and we should be willing to do it. Just realize, when you go to the abortion clinic, you're now on Satan's turf.
You are at a gate of hell. So when Christians show up, There may be conflict because good and evil don't mix. Our family's been yelled at, cussed at, spit on, we've been pushed, we've been threatened with arrest. We've had clinic workers come out and take our pictures and then they go take pictures of your car and your license plate. All that is to intimidate you.
It's as if they're saying, we know who you are, So don't try anything. Pro-choice people have taken aluminum cans and they filled them with pennies, not all the way, and when we've been praying on the sidewalk they'll come up and shake them in our ears so you can't even hear what you're saying or praying. Pro-choice people like in Acts 19, chant the same thing over and over for hours. In Acts 19, some of the apostles are in this city and it's in Ephesus and they keep chanting great is Diana of the Ephesians and they chant that over and over, it says in scripture, for two hours. When I used to read that I thought, oh they don't really, did they really do it for two hours?
These pro-choice people chant the same thing over and over for hours. I do believe the Scriptures. But we're to handle any persecution we face with gentleness. In the book of Acts, when the Christians came to a city, there was either riots or revival. Far too often today the church has lost its saltiness.
As the Christians show up to town it's like, oh hum, the Christians are in town. Because we don't proclaim the word of God. We don't say what is evil. The desire of every Christian should be to preach the good news of Jesus Christ. It's the best and most important news that any human being will ever hear.
Nothing else compares to the good news of Jesus Christ. What other news is more important? I can't think of anything that compares to the gospel of Jesus Christ. God's people are called to be faithful and the results are up to God. Think about it.
The message of the Gospel turned the world upside down. Scripture tells us faith comes from hearing the Word. That means the Word of God must be preached. We have a responsibility as Christians, we are ambassadors of Christ, we have a responsibility to present the truth of God's word. And it's God's work to change their hearts, but we are to deliver the mail.
God usually uses a small remnant to do great damage to Satan's kingdom. Christians are to impact the world for Christ. Because of the faithful witness of a few Christians, do you know what has happened to abortion clinics all over America since 1991? Or since the past 20 years, excuse me. Christians have gone out and stood at these Planned Parenthoods, these abortion clinics, these gates of hell, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
And because of the faithful witness of a few Christians since 1991, over 1300 abortion mills have shut down. That in spite of the fact that Roe v. Wade is considered the law of the land. Over 1300 strongholds of Satan are gone. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ.
We as the people of God must have a godly hatred for abortion. May God grant the church repentance. A lot of the time, we as a people of God have the attitude that If something doesn't directly affect me in my home or my family or my church or my workplace, then I'm not going to worry about it. So with this wrong attitude, we don't worry about this gate of hell that's in our cities. Children in the womb made in the image of God are being murdered.
The church, we the people of God, need to repent for our apathy. Theologian Francis Schaeffer believes so strongly in that Christians are in apathy that he put up a big billboard in Florida. And this is what the billboard said, the abortion clinics are open in our city by permission of the Church of Jesus Christ. Francis Schaeffer was upset with the church because the people of God were not storming this gate of hell. If that wasn't bad enough, We see Christians going into the clinic all the time for abortions.
We see a lot of cars pull into the clinic with Christian bumper stickers on their cars. I was outside of a Planned Parenthood in St. Louis. A few years back, I saw this mother walking up the sidewalk and behind her a few feet was her daughter, it looked like, and her daughter was 15 or 16. And the way they were walking, it seemed like to me they were going into the clinic.
So I walked up to her and I said, you're not going into the clinic for an abortion, are you? Her mother held up her hand to my face like she was giving me the stop sign. And she said, look, we've already talked to our pastor. He told us that Jesus would forgive us. She went on to say, so I don't want to hear anything that you have to say.
This grandmother was on a mission to get rid of a problem. I told her, we don't continue in sin that grace may abound. I said, God will not be mocked. And then as I walked with them a little ways, as they walked up the sidewalk, and I told her, That child is your grandchild. That is your own flesh and blood.
I told her, you'll be committing murder. You'll have innocent blood on your hands. You'll regret this day that you murdered your own grandchild. The mother and daughter paid no attention to what I was saying and they headed straight into the clinic and they had an abortion that day. We've seen this same thing happen many times.
Mothers, grandmothers bring their daughters to the clinic because they don't want the embarrassment, they don't want to take care of that child. You pick a reason. They murder their own grandchild. This is one of the reasons we bring big poster boards with scripture written on it. We want the people to see that God's word condemns the shedding of innocent blood.
Those children who are murdered are judicially innocent of any crime. And we know that God's word does not return void. We want to show the world that hands that shed innocent blood are an abomination to God and point them to Jesus Christ. Also, when we go to these abortion clinics, we desire to show the truth of what's going on in these clinics. So we will bring big poster-sized pictures of children who have actually been murdered at these clinics.
We'll stand on the sidewalk holding these large signs. These pictures are gruesome. It's a picture of a child who's been murdered. They're very difficult for even us to look at, but we think it's important for these mothers, people in the community to see it and understand what's going on in these abortion murder centers. Many times when we're holding these big gruesome signs of aborted people, some people get very upset with us.
Sometimes people in the neighborhood come out of their homes or are people driving by, they want us to put those signs away. And they really get mad at us. They tell us they don't want to look at those gruesome signs. Get them out of their neighborhood. Sometimes people cuss at us and tell us those signs are inappropriate.
They tell us to go home and mind their own business. A lot of the phrases that I used to use to the pro-life people. I think it's really ironic that these people could care less about the children that are actually getting murdered. We tell them, you're upset with these signs we're showing, but inside this building, this is what they're actually doing to children. For most of the world, it doesn't matter to them.
People get mad at us for holding the signs. They don't care what Planned Parenthood is doing to children. They don't want to see it. They don't want to think about it. They don't want to hear it.
They tell us it's a woman's choice. If the people of God don't stand up in front of these clinics and tell the world that what's going on inside that building is wrong, who will? The world's not going to be out there. These are children made in the image of God. And if we know that innocent blood is being shed in our city, and we don't do anything about it, then we are apathetic.
We have to really check our hearts, because that should cut us to the core. Remember, we go there to preach the Word of God. We could be doing a lot of other things on a Saturday morning, but I think God uses His people to advance His kingdom and change the hearts and minds of the world. I think being out there is preaching the gospel. One Saturday morning we were at the clinic and we saw a mother and her friend go into the clinic.
They saw the gruesome pictures when they went in, and I called out to them. They looked at us briefly and they walked straight into the clinic. After about 20 minutes, they came back out. They got in their car and they pulled out of the clinic and they pulled up next to us on the sidewalk and they began talking with us. They said they heard everything we said to them.
They saw the pictures when they walked into the clinic. And the way Planned Parenthood is, they have a, when you step up to the door, it slides open and stays open for a couple seconds. And I use that as an opportunity to preach the gospel even that few seconds that the door is open. Well this mother said as she sat in the waiting room she could still hear me sitting there. She was thinking about what was being said, she was thinking about the pictures, she said that she really became convicted.
She kept thinking these things over in her mind. As we talked, she expressed a strong desire to have her baby. We asked her, how can we help you? Is there anything we can do?" She said, well, I've purchased this house. It needs a lot of work.
So what we did was we organized a couple Saturday work days and we went over and completed a lot of projects for her. The point is, here's a woman that changed her mind because she was presented with the truth of God's Word. She heard it, she read it, she saw the gruesome pictures, and God worked in her heart to change her mind. But God's people have to be faithful to show up at these murder centers. Two years ago, some friends of ours were at a clinic, and they saw a family go into the clinic.
It was a father and mother and a two-year-old little girl. After about 20 minutes, the father and little girl came out of the clinic, they got in their car and drove away. Well about 15, 20 minutes later, some of the ladies at the clinic decided to go down to the fast food restaurant to get something to drink and use the restroom. And when they walked in there, they saw the father and little girl sitting at one of the tables eating some food and the ladies were all in the bathroom and they were saying, hey, that's the father. We need to go, one of us needs to go talk with him.
So one of the ladies went over and stood there, started talking with him, and he didn't just write her off, so she continued talking with him. Soon another lady joined and another one, and they were all sitting there talking with him. They sat down at the table with him and they were trying to talk him out of murdering his own child. As they were talking with her, with him, his heart was starting to soften. And He was listening to what they were saying.
And one of the pro-life women pulled a picture out of her purse, and it was a picture of a baby that had been aborted. And she laid it on the table, and she said, this is what they're going to do to your child. They're going to murder your child and then disregard the child's body. Well the little two year old girl was sitting there and she was eating some french fries. She stopped eating fries and she took her index finger and she started tapping on the picture and she grabbed her dad's arm and she said, Daddy, broken baby, Daddy, broken baby.
Everybody started crying at that point. It just hit them like a ton of bricks. This little two year old girl could see plainly that a baby was murdered. The father now had completely changed his mind. He called his mother, he called his wife's mother, he called the abortion clinic and said, stop the abortion, I'm coming over there, I'm getting my wife, don't do anything.
And the clinic told them, we're sorry, you're not going to be allowed back in here, it's too late, we're already getting on with the procedure, it's just, you're too late. Everybody was crying again and one of the ladies said we have to pray let's let's pray and ask for God to intervene. A couple minutes later the phone rang, it was the abortion clinic, and they said, you have to come back to the clinic. He said, oh, okay, I'll be right there. I can come back there now?
And they said, yes, we found out your wife, instead of being ten weeks pregnant, she's thirteen weeks pregnant, you need to bring another $150 before we can perform this abortion. He said, I'll be right there. He went flying out of the restaurant, went down there, barged in there, got his wife, brought her back out. The next night, they gave testimony at a church. There's a group of Christians that gather once a year, it's called Operation Save America, and they have rallies.
Christians come from all over the nation and for one week They go to the gates of hell and they have rallies at night where the word of God is preached. Well this couple went there the next night and gave God the glory for using God's people to change their minds. To change their minds. You had a little two-year-old girl who saved her siblings life. God used that little girl to change the heart of that father and mother.
I think that's just amazing that God will work through his people. If we go to the gates of hell, remember the gates of hell are in a defensive position. We're to storm the gates of hell. Our friends in New Orleans told us a story of one day they were in front of an abortion clinic and a young woman walked up to the clinic. She told him she was there for an abortion.
They started talking with her, and they talked with her for a long time, they said, for about an hour outside the clinic. And it seemed as if she was going to change her mind. And at the end, she told him, I'm going to go in the clinic and I'm just going to see what they have to say, she told them. My friends waited outside of the clinic for one hour, two hours, three hours. She never came back out.
They were really devastated. They thought she was going to change her mind. And he said, well that was the end of it. And he said about a year later, this woman walked up to them at the clinic and she said, do you remember me? And they said, well can you tell us where I know you?
And she had her hair fixed different. She said, you talked to me right here for about an hour outside the clinic. And she said, I did not have the abortion that day. In fact, here is the little baby I was carrying that day. And they all started crying and were just praising God that God was to use them in that way.
God can use each one of us. He's given Some of us five talents, some of us two talents, some of us one talent. The talents that God has given you, you are to use to advance His kingdom. Those that use their talents, the master said, well done, good and faithful servant. The one that buried his one talent in the backyard, God said you wicked, lazy servant.
I'm not saying every family needs to go to the abortion clinic. It's something you really have to be called to do. And there is a price to pay. I remember one time we were in Columbus, Ohio with Operation Save America. And there were some pro-choice people there and they started, we were worshiping God outside in front of City Hall.
They had a big plaza area that was open to the public, so we were there worshiping God and giving testimony and bearing witness of Christ. And the pro-choice people, these people lost in their sin, started chanting and shouting a bunch of profanity. There were probably 30 to 40 pro-choice people. There are probably 20 to 30 police officers there. There were a couple hundred pro-life people.
So some of us walked over to the police officers and said, hey, there's, can you hear what those pro-choice people are saying they're using all kinds of profanity. Can you go talk with them about this because we've got you know mothers and children here and the police said well we're sorry there was just an ordinance passed that profanity is allowed in our city. We could not believe it. Then Some of these pro-choice women stood up on some of these columns. They were about three, four feet off the ground and they took off their tops and they were standing there naked from the waist up.
So we surrounded them with our big pictures and we went over the police officers again and we said, hey do you see those pro-life people? They're you know they're half naked up there. They said, we're sorry we can't do anything. There was just an ordinance passed that you can go topless now men and women. We said well how did that happen?
He said well men used to run through the city jogging they'd run without their shirts on so a big group of women went up to City Hall and the mayor and protested. Why do the men get to do that and the women can't? So they passed the law so women can go topless in Columbus, Ohio now. We as the people of God need to be a witness for Christ. We're losing our nation.
The two most important things I think we can do as the people of God is to preach Christ and pray. We must have a godly hatred for evil and a godly hatred for abortion and all that is wrong. This is a modern day holocaust. We see the pictures of the Jewish people that were killed during World War II and we think how horrible that is. Did you know there used to be an abortion clinic in Wichita, Kansas that after the babies were aborted they had a big oven outside where they would throw the bodies of the babies in and they would burn them up there and you could actually smell the burning flesh and see light ashes of the bodies of those babies that were murdered at that clinic.
We're no better than Nazi Germany. What is the people of God gonna do about this? How bad does it have to get? Like I said, the world is not going to proclaim that what's going on at those clinics is wrong. It's the people of God, the ambassadors of Christ.
Our nation is heading for tyranny. We believe that when you go to the clinic, when you go to a gate of hell, It could be a pornography shop. It could be a homosexual bar. We believe that we're fighting for the future of our children and the future of our nation. We know, if you look back on history and you read the Word of God, that God destroys nations that embrace sexual perversion, homosexuality, and child sacrifice.
We as a nation have forgotten God. Abortions are being performed in almost every major city in America. Millions and millions of children have been murdered. We are self-destructing. We as the church have failed to be the salt and light.
We've failed to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. How can we expect the blessings of God on America if we're murdering our unborn? It says in Deuteronomy 28 there's blessings and there's curses. We're receiving the curses of God because we're murdering our own children. And the Church of Jesus Christ, for the most part, is okay with it.
The church is to be the standard bearer of righteousness. Christ is our King, and we are to be faithful to our King, And the results are up to them. God is the one that changes hearts. We are to be faithful though. And maybe God will allow you to see some of the fruit of your work.
We've seen some of these death scores, some of these security, they have security guards at the clinic, and they make sure there's peace there, but really they're pro-choice, that's why they're working there. We've seen some of their hearts change, and they're on the other side of the fence with us proclaiming that it is murder and it is wrong. God's people do make a difference in the lives of people. We're to preach the law of God and the grace of God. Unbelievers need to Understand their sinfulness and see the wickedness of their sin.
Remember they're lost, they're dead in their sin. All men are under the judgment of God because all men have broken God's law, but God in his mercy sent Jesus Christ, his only begotten son. His only begotten Son. I think this is amazing that God shed His own blood for sinners. To me, that's amazing.
We must call upon men to repent and turn to Christ to be saved. No man can come to the Father except through Jesus Christ. All roads do not lead to God. Sometimes I ask these these deskorts and the security guard and these mothers, what is your standard of determining right from wrong? Is it what the majority of people think?
Is it your own opinion? I can appeal to a higher authority. I can appeal to the word of God to tell me what is right and what is wrong. May God have mercy on us as a nation. May the people of God wake up and storm this gate of hell.
I'll close with a scripture that I usually call out at the abortion clinic And usually I call that out when the escorts are there or there's a group of Catholics that come and they faithfully show up and they pray the rosary. And in fact they're praying to Mary and just realize that you're not only witnessing to the pro-choice people you can be witnessing to those who don't know Christ outside the clinic. Well I share 1 Timothy 2 5 which says there's one God and there's one mediator, the man Christ Jesus. It's only through Christ that any man may be saved And it's a message that we have to take to a lost and dying world. Thank you very much.
I'd like to take a question or two. We have about five minutes if anybody would have a question. Yes, sir. There is no age limit on the children you take down with you. In fact, the younger, the better because those mothers, there was one family that used to come with us before they moved to California.
They would stand out front. She would hold her little baby in her arms as these mothers would pull into the clinic. You just have to discern where your children are and their maturity and really explain to them what's going on before you would go there. Yes sir. We have not, but there are people out there that do help with that.
That do help with that there was something I was gonna say are there any other questions uh... Go ahead okay back to you You go to City Hall and See where the right-of-way is and know your rights because the police the the pro-choice people they'll come out and tell you oh do you have a permit to be on the sidewalk do you have a permit for that sign and usually it's just a bunch of baloney because people say well no I don't have a permit then they'll leave and go home. Yes sir? I, It's different in each case. I will basically tell those mothers, well I'll tell you what I tell the workers when they're walking in.
They park in a parking lot. They have to walk through us also to get into the clinic. And I'll stand there and I'll walk beside them a little bit and I'll tell those workers you've got to get out of this place. It's no good for you. You're fighting against the God in heaven that created you.
Whatever they're paying you, it's not enough. You're selling your soul for a pot of porridge. You're going to regret this time that you worked at this murder center. And I tell them plainly what's going on in there and I tell them it's not too late they can they can ask God to forgive them and turn to Christ that he he will embrace them and forgive them but they cannot keep going and sinning the way they are. So I encourage them to get out of there.
And that's one thing about these abortion mills, there's a big turnover rate of abortion workers because it does get to them. In fact, I've heard testimony that they have nightmares about it. Anyone else? Yes sir. I have a question.
What do you say to people that ask you about rape? What about the cause of rape and visa? I ask them I said if your father committed a crime would you want to be murdered for it? And they'll say no. And I said, well why would you want to murder a child who is conceived in a rape case?
And God is 100% pro-life, and that's what we should be. That's what the Word of God says. Yes, ma'am? I'd like to just share a story with you about when I was in college and I was pro-choice, pro-abortion, believed in reincarnation, evolution. Well I was in college during 1973 when Roe v.
Wade became the law of the land or Considered the law of the land and I was in the dormitory There were 16 guys on our floor in Roe v. Wade, you know that just that decision had come down Well, we had there was a big discussion on college campuses about pro-life, pro-choice. Well one night this this guy, I knew he was a Christian, he never... He did not share the gospel with me that I remember, but he was staunchly pro-life no matter what. And he was sitting on his bed and there were eight or nine of us all gathered around him giving him all those what about this case what about that case and every time he came back and said no it's a baby the word of God says it is life begins at conception no matter what we said he stuck to his guns and proclaimed the truth.
That always stuck with me. That he never wavered on that. Well, after I became a Christian, see God's sense of humor, there was a family reunion down in Oklahoma. We went down there And just a few days before we went down there I was talking with my brother and he had just become a Christian. He became a Christian and then a little while later I became a Christian.
And we were talking about the pro-life, pro-choice and he was still unbelievably pro-choice. And I was giving him all the pro-life reasons, and so anyway, I just left it alone. Well anyway, our family headed off down to this family reunion, and my brother's family headed off down there. Well we're sitting around the campground and my relatives are pretty liberal and something came up about abortion and I took the pro-life position and I was sitting in a lawn chair and next thing I knew there were eight or nine relatives all around me giving me all the pro-choice arguments and I was defending the pro-life position as best I could and they were getting madder and madder and then my brother steps in and he says, excuse me, and he pulls up a lawn chair and he sits right next to me and he starts defending the pro-life position. I couldn't believe it.
Afterwards I said, hey what happened to you? He goes, God really convicted my heart and changed my heart. So God's people, we can we can do a lot. God used just a few Christians to shut down over 1, 300 abortion mills. Yes, ma'am?
That's a very good point. A friend of mine just shared with me that just a week ago that he was at work and he said this young man told him hey I'm engaged to be married but I've been with this other woman, and now this other woman is pregnant, so we're gonna have an abortion. And my friend talked to him till he was blue in the face, and told him, you've already committed adultery, and now you're going to commit murder. You're going to be piling on your sins, the same point you were bringing up. And the guy said, well, we just have to do this.
I can't let my fiance find out about this. Well that was on a Thursday. They didn't come back to work until Monday. And the guy came in and said, hey I need to talk to you. And so my friend went over and talked with him and he said, the words you shared with me really pierced my heart and we decided I told this other woman that she was going to have the baby.
And he said, in fact we went and had an ultrasound and found out she's having twins. He said, so it would have been double murder. He said, thank you so much for sharing the truth of God's word. Thank you all very much. Music church and family life, and to the establishment of biblically ordered churches.
