In this audio message, Johnny Franco discusses how families can spread the Gospel. We are all called to fulfill the Great Commission. We need to be faithful in the small things. Fathers must explain to their families that we all are sinful and there is nothing that we can do to merit salvation. They must teach what Scripture makes clear.
Mark 16:15-16 (NKJV) - "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.'"
The National Center for Family Integrated Churches welcomes Johnny Franco with the following message entitled, Reaching the Nations as a Family. A family. Buenas tardes. Good afternoon. I am going to try to speak in both language.
I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I believe the Holy Spirit would lead me to do it for His honor and for his glory. I was born in Ecuador. Bengo de una familia, no crellente.
I come from a family that did not knew the gospel. Una familia religiosa pero una religión pagana. A family that was, there were religions, but they were pagan, it was a pagan religion. And the Lord and his sovereignty took me out of Ecuador when I was only 17 years old. So I came to United State.
Being at Los Estados Unidos. Being here at Los Estados Unidos, with the proposal of studying. I came here with the purpose of study. And two thanks to the Lord, that in 1994, He gave me the I am so grateful to my Lord and Savior that He saved me in 1984. Saved me in 1984.
In my family, I was not given a testimony of the Bible. In my family, I didn't have any biblical testimony, any biblical teaching. So I grew up far from the teaching of the Word of God.
I met my wife in Miami. I was lost when I met her and she was saved, but she was not disciple. So That was not a good thing, but it was a good thing for me. Otherwise, he will probably will never marry me. And the reason for which it is called with me is because I am not a disciple.
I do not know the scriptures. In another way, I have not been called with me. And that is why I say thank you. And in this time, the time that I have planned is to try to change nations as families.
This afternoon I will be dealing with reaching the nations as a family. And I would like to take you to Matthew 28, Mateo Vintiocho. And we will be reading from verse 16 to 20. From verse 16 to 20.
You have probably read this passage I don't know how many time on this last two days. So you are very familiar with the text. But I'm going to read it in Spanish and probably will be the first time that it's been read in Spanish during this conference so enjoy the reading in Spanish.
The reading in Spanish. But the 12 disciples were a Galilean, the month when Jesus was ordained. And when he was born, he adored him. But some were dead.
And Jesus is being called and is saying, everything can be tested in the heart and in the soul. And so, and the seven disciples of all nations, will be showing us the number of the Father, and the Son, and the Spirit. They will be showing us that all the things that God has given us, Autisando los en el nombre del padre, y del hijo y del espiritucanto, enseñando les que guarden todas las cosas que hos emandado y e aquí yo estoy con vos otro, todos los días hasta el fin del mundo. Amen. Well, let's seek the lord in prayer.
We want the Holy Spirit to take control and to encourage us to do his will and to live our life for his honor and for his glory. Let's pray. Father, I thank you for the opportunity and privilege to be able to explain your word. Father, I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to teach and preach this subject. Pray that it will be done for your honor, for your glory, and for the benefit of your people.
Father, I thank you so much for helping me and for giving me the opportunity of a new life for Andre Gloria de Tunombre. And Lord, I thank you also for my salvation and for the opportunity of a new life for thy honor and for thy glory. Lord, I pray that this life will come truly for that purpose. I see, Que Señor, Me Encomiendo a ti, Guiame y te doy gracias en el nombre de Jesus Christo. So Lord, I surrender completely to you.
Give me a breath from heaven that I might say exactly what you want to say to your people. And I thank you so much. And the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, amen. Mateo, 28, 26, knows that in text, the Lagrangian Commission, you can see it another mass mention our In 1828-1926, we read the text of the Great Commission. It is not to mention The importance of the Great Commission is that it has brought a very good chance of time in these last two days to serve this great commission.
When I was here, the eight disciples were from Galilee, the month when Jesus was saved, and when he was saved, he was adored, but some were dead. He spoke, saying, All the people have been saved in the sea and in the sea. The Lord gave this commission to the apostles. And they have the responsibility to preach the gospel to all nations.
Pero como se nos predico a noche, like we heard last time, this great commission is being given to all of us who are Christian, who know the Lord as personal Savior.
So now we have a great responsibility by the authority of Christ to go to all nations and preach the glorious gospel and baptize and teach them the whole cancel of God from Genesis to Revelation. We have the great responsibility to proclaim that gospel to our lost people so that they might be safe, so that their life will be transformed for God's glory. For God's glory. That they might begin a new life to glorify the Lord. And so we have that great responsibility.
The great commission is to go and make disciple of Jesus Christ. Disciple of Jesus Christ.
We are living in a very difficult times when the gospel is being watered down. And We are depending more on decisions. We are depending, and I want to be real careful with this because I don't want to offend anyone. We've been called to preach the gospel. And that gospel needs to be preached in the power of the Holy Spirit.
And God will work in the heart of sinful men to make them realize first who God is and who we are. We are sinful people. Sinful people that needs help from our creator, our savior. The great commission is to go and preach the truth.
What this nation and all nations need is to hear the truth, the scripture, the Bible, because there is life in God's word. And as we preach the gospel and people repent and come to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, we need to follow by teaching them the truth that they might know God, and they might know His will, and they do His will for His honor and for His glory.
What our people need is to hear the truth, because that truth is what's gonna give them liberty to glorify our great God. La gran comisión es predicar una persona. Esa persona es Cristo. The great commission is to preach Christ. He is the Savior.
Christ is the Savior. My church doesn't save anyone. Christ is the one who's saved. He is the Savior.
Christ is the savior. The Great Commission is not a plan, it's a person. And that is Christ.
It's not much information but a relation, relationship with God, relationship with Christ. Now, we ask ourselves, what is the message of the Gospel?
So first, the gospel is a message about God. It's about God. The gospel teach us who is him And how is his character?
And who we are? And what he require from us? The Gospel teaches us that we all have our own existence.
And that He, the gospel, teach us also that He make us to worship Him and to serve Him and to express our worship to Him, our gratitude to Him, and the beauty of His holiness. God is holy. And the nations need to hear that we are serving and preaching a holy God. I wonder if we think when we have the opportunity to share the gospel with someone about God's holiness first. Sinners need to know that their sin has offended a holy God, a holy God.
So the message is about God. It's about God. But it's also about sin.
So the gospel is also a message about sin. It teaches us how we fall. It teaches us how we fall in a way that we have not complied with God's commandments.
It teaches us how we came to be guilty. It teach us how depraved we are. And it teach us how we became to depend on that sinful life. And I also teach how we found ourselves as centers under God's wrath.
God's wrath. It tells us that The reason why we send continuously is because our sinful nature. It teach us that whatever we do and our own will not give us reconciliation with God, will not give us favor with God.
So the gospel teach us and show us how sinful we are. Show us that whatever we do, whether it's good or bad, will not give us favor with God.
Therefore the Gospel is a message about Christ, Christ the Son of God. Christ who died for the sinner.
Christ, the one who died and rose again.
The Gospel is a message The gospel is a message that is central in Christ, in Christo. In Christ. En Cristo. The Gospel is a message about a call to repentance and believe. And we need to believe.
But God commands to all men everywhere and all nations to repent. So the gospel is a message about faith and repentance.
When we preach the gospel, We shall pray that the Lord work on the heart of those who hear the gospel to believe and repent from sin and come to know him as personal savior. Now I mentioned all that and the title that I received was Reaching All the Nations with the Gospel. And I found that interesting, reaching all nations as a family. And I found it interesting that since we all have Such a gift from God, a great commission.
And so there, I think we should start our responsibility and the responsibility of this great commission in the preaching of the gospel in our own home with our own children and teach them Christ. It will be sad as a pastor to be outside, reaching the lost, and not taking the time to reach my own children. Or as a missionary, to go to the mission field and lose his children. El evangelismo in pieza en casa.
The preaching of the gospel begins at home. We have a sign in our church building that it says, missions begin at home. And as we reach our children, we train them to do the same, to reach others for Christ. We feel like we don't have to go to the mission field anymore because the mission field has come to us. And we deal with a lot of families.
And within the Spanish culture, there's still belief in the integration of the family. And so it's a little bit easier on that aspect. But we deal with a lot of families from different places. We have 14, 15 nations represented in our church, from Cuba to Colombia, Peru, Panama, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Spain. The Lord has given us that opportunity to reach as a family those nations.
What a blessing it is to be able to do that as a family. And we do that in a daily basis. We don't wait to just one particular day. We use our daily living to communicate the gospel to the lost. I can tell you once we came to a restaurant, to a Mexican restaurant, and we were eating in there like we normally do.
We just sit on the seat and we take our table and pray for the food. And this particular man who work in that restaurant later came to us and said, what religions you are? He asked a question. And so we had the opportunity to share the gospel with him. And later, he became safe.
So if we just take our families and teach them in the daily basis to reach the lost, And what a tremendous opportunity to be able to do that. The great commission, the privilege to preach the gospel to the lost. I believe it starts at home. I was in Honduras preaching a conference and most of my preaching is in Spanish. It's not in English.
You can tell I'm struggling over here with the English language, because it's not the language that I dominate. I dominate Spanish. I mean, I can speak Spanish with no problem. But I was there and I received a call from my wife. And she was telling me, the Lord just gave me an opportunity to guide Caleb to the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ and He was saved.
And how such a blessing. We have the opportunity to preach the gospel to our children and see them at an early age to become children of God. What a tremendous blessing. I didn't have that. I grew up in a family that we never pray, we never open the Bible.
We have religion without God. I don't remember a time when my mother or my father would come to my bed and pray with me or read Bible story to me It was at the age of 23 when I first heard the gospel you realize that almost natural after that I ask, why? I had to wait 23 years. But it was the sovereignty of God. Because now I deal with people that goes through the same troubles and problems that I went in, I know how to help them.
But this is the sad thing. And I'm very concerned about this. And it is that there is a generation that is raised within Christian families, they do not appreciate that. For the most part, they don't value that. And so what a tremendous opportunity to reach the loss as a family.
And I try to do this once again with my wife and with my children. And it has been a great blessing to be able to do that. And also it has been a great blessing to see them come to the Lord, just as we did. Just as we did. So, Matthew 28, 16, other way to 20, it's the great commission and it's a great text That if we take it in complete obedience to Him who have the supreme authority like we heard last night in heaven and in earth.
And if we take that responsibility and go, we are not looking for numbers. We've been called just to preach the gospel, and God will take care of the rest. And by the way, we will never know what God will do with somebody that will reach for Christ. I was lost when I married. I was 19 years old.
My wife suffered for four years because I was not the husband that I needed it to be. And we had almost, I think it was five separations. And I praise God that the Lord preserve us. And then March, no, I think it was July of 84, two men from Columbia came to my apartment. I was drinking and I put the drink outside and I opened the door for them and they came and for the first time, I heard the gospel.
And that afternoon, I was in my knees asking God for forgiveness. Because for the first time, I realized I had offended a holy God and I asked Him to save me. And He did. But what those two mens didn't know was that I was going to be their pastor. I didn't know that.
That I was going to become their pastor. It is a blessing just to know that we have the opportunity to share the Gospel and to preach Christ to all nations. But it's a blessing to know that the Lord might use us to reach someone that God will use to change the heart of nations. What a powerful message. What a powerful gospel we have.
What a wonderful savior we have. I think I forgot to speak in Spanish. So I'm going back to Spanish, and that was my priority at the beginning, But we had more that understand English. So if you don't mind, let me dedicate a couple more minutes in Spanish. I know there is a lady here that do not speak English, So I'm going to talk to her and talk to those who do not speak English and I will be speaking in Spanish to them.
It's a great privilege to be able to speak to you today. Christo is who gives us the opportunity to do so. He has all the power to help us.
All the supreme authorities in the city, like in the city. All authority, supreme authority in the sea, in the air, in the commission, in these disciples who are willing to predict this glorious and vengeful event, who are willing to take important We are the ones who are ready to take this glorious evangelism. We are the ones who are ready to take important action and to be able to do this tonight. And in this word, we are ready to take action, to be able to do it, and and be disciples. And the great mandamus is to be disciples.
To be able to take advantage of, to be able to baptize and to be able to teach all the concepts of God, to teach the mandamus of God, the word of God. That are in all the details of the world, that are in the words of the details, the words of the words, and the ideas that go to all nations, to all places, to all creatures, to all cultures, to all languages, and to predict the glorious and the glorious Evangelio de Jesus Christo. And he will teach us to be disciples of Christ, disciples of the 10th quarter, and the great promise that we make is that he will be with us all of our days, all the time in the world. This means that we have to depend on ourselves, if not on him, the promise that will be made with us, to prove everything necessary, to prove his support, his life, so that we would serve him as a leader, to be able to share the blessings of Jesus Christ's glory. We cannot do anything else.
Our company is at the end. We thank God for that. I mentioned in English that we do not only have the responsibility to predict the evangelism. What privilege it is to predict the evangelism and to see what it is in the evangelism in the horizon of the and save the last days of his life. Let me tell you that in 1994, two people took a bus from my house.
I was separated from my house. We had five separate spaces in four years. In 1994, in 1994. We had five separate separation, four years. From 1994 to 1964.
And today, in 1994, two people came to my house, two Colombian people. And I predicted the evangelical and today, in the middle of my house, I arrived and climbed and I was left to the door to open the door. I was offended by a day of sin, and I said to myself, I will forgive you, and you will forgive me. And as a result, I took my son, my family, And these two brothers, these two brothers who came to build the evangelist church, they did not know, they did not understand, that they would come to the house that they would be able to be the pastor of the heavens. What glorious is that, the evangelical?
We do not know what is going to happen with those who are going to be proclamating. And therefore, there is a great number of people who are in the desperation for the question of the peccator, and then, with these walls of the sea, with these lines of the sea, and the Jesus. And they have to work in their corners, in order to transform themselves, and they are enseigned to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and then they can take the big ombres of the faith. We do not know what God has prepared for us. God can help the nation of this world to confound the Savior.
God can help the devil of this world to confound the Savior. Yes, God. I think God has given me a nation to help the Savior, a devil to help the poor. And He is the one for Him. And what good is it for us, that a hundred Christ-like pecked doors for us.
And when we think about this portion of the scriptures, everything can be said, but it is in the Bible and in the Torah, and it is in these disciples. This is the responsibility of this responsibility, I am standing here in the Post, but I believe that I am standing here with all of us, we are the people of God, Decipulos Esta encargo y esta responsibility. Dios estadando de los apostoles Pro yo creo que estadando a todos nosotros los que somos y jos adiós de ir y Predicar el evangelio y hacer disciples en todas las naciones Bautisandros en el nombre del padre del hijo y del spiritus anto en señandoles que guar de todas las cosas in all nations, in the names of the father, the son, and the spirit. Incealing what is being done, all things. We have seen this extremely dangerous.
Where we are predicting, as we say, that the culture is being addicted to what the word of God says. We are saying that a lot of human manipulation, when it is necessary, is the power of the spiritual spirit to do so. Open the door in the open door. It is the same thing that has to do with this coronation of poverty and the same thing that we are not able to do with the people we are with and the same time, because we are also not able to sense anything of such great love for ourselves. Because in that way, the world has a way of living, that had his own people, so that all those who, in the end, didn't know him, but had eternal life.
I live in Christ. Christ is the one who can solve the problem. God is the one who opens the door to the door of the door, so that the door recognizes a necessity. Oh, the evangelism that is predicted in our days Because it was in the book of the language, it was in the ideas of the language, it was in the ideal language, not in the scriptures, not in the words of God. And for that it is, as Alguien Dijo, in our siglésias, we find the camp to evangelize the most great of the world.
Es decir no podemos ir a predicar el We must thank God. I want to conclude by saying that the Great Commission, the prediction of the glorious Evangelion, is at stake.
This means we cannot wait to predict the Evangelion before we predict our children. We must be sure that our fathers and sisters are solved by being able to see the world through them. When we predict the evolution of our children, and by taking their lives to salvation, we can live and in our pilgrimage, as a family, to predict the glorious and ungrateful redemption of all the creatures. We have started in the house, as you say, in our church, and one of the things that says, the mission is to be in the house. It is today in our work that we have predicted, to Christ, we have predicted and have promised for our children, that I will be able to give you a temper, and that I will give you the truth, the truth for your glory.
To be able to predict Jesus Christ. We have to be able to predict this glorious evangelical life in our children and in our children for which they are saved by the grace of God. And they are saved by God, as we have done ourselves. That will solve their sins is Christ. Christ is the salvation.
We have the responsibility of predicting the evangelism to our sins. I mentioned that in Honduras, my wife, I was predicting a conference about the government and my wife, on the phone, informed me that she had the privilege of giving to one of our children, the peace of Christ. And if so, every one of our children is given the peace of Christ. It is said that we are inspired, the word of God, we are inspired that Christ is the Salvador. We are inspired that what will solve his problems is Christ Jesus.
In the power of the spirit of God and the power of His power. And Gloria Dios is here, and she is. And she has been yes, we have started to think about our God. In the last twenty years, we have seen that 72% of evangelism has been held in the streets. In the streets.
The Christians were more occupied by their people, by their children, by their husbands, by their husbands, by their children, by their families, for their children. It is worth it. And we are here to tell you that today, and that is the truth in our words, and we are in need to give a piece, a piece of the word, for the most important, especially in our families. Especially in our families. That they have children.
That they have children to be accompanied by the Great Commission. What great commission do we have? We have to remember that God has given us. God has given us so that we can comply with the Great Commission and what the Great Commission has given us. And this Great Commission is the one that is all of us.
Well, I will repeat the text and I will say it in a short way. But the and that he would be happy and happy to see everything he could be. He would be standing in the sky and in the air, and putting his and his disciples to all nations, focusing on the names of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and sending them to all the things that he has commanded. And here I am, with all the days, Amen.
Father, we thank you so much for the opportunity that you have given us and the privilege to preach the gospel to all nations and to be able to train our families and reach them with the gospel. They might go and do the same with others. Father, thank you so much for your goodness to us. Thank you for what we have heard already and for what we are going to hear through the rest of the afternoon and tomorrow.
Lord, give us a great love for souls. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
