Julius Chipola, a member of Antioch Baptist Church, hey tell us about what the prosperity gospel looks like here in Malawi. Prosperity gospel is a message that promises good health, that promises wealth, that promises peace, that promises a good family without repenting and believing. As long as you keep paying or you keep giving gifts or you keep planting seeds or you keep giving money to the pastor or that particular ministry. Basically, it's a message that is used to rip people off without making them know that you are robbing them in the name of God. So in the end, people are looking for peace, people are looking for health people are looking for all these good things in the name of Jesus Christ and at the end they don't find it.

The reason being they haven't repented and then they haven't believed the gospel the reason being they haven't gone straight to God himself rather they have gone to the so-called man of God it's a message that isn't found in the Bible it's a message that promises false hope. Unfortunately it's a message that people have to hear The reason why they love to hear that is because everyone wants to do something for God to earn some sort of favor. But that is not what the gospel promises. So basically, Wealth, Health, Prosperity Gospel is a gospel that promises people good things unless they do something for God. It's a gospel that promises favor from God without doing what God says.

In the end, who who gets something from this is the minister. It's the church. It's a ministry. And when I say the church here, I don't mean the true church, I mean the wicked church, the forced church, another true church. Thank you.
