Scott Brown, in this video, speaks of the importance of gospel centered families and family life 

So we're here in Malawi invited down by Antioch Baptist Church, a church we've you know had relationship with over the years and Frank Maxon and his family as missionaries down here. They've asked us really to speak about manhood, womanhood, the functions of the family, marriage, all that kind of stuff. Really interesting church full of young men. There are hardly any families in this church so we're really speaking to kind of a rising generation. Most of them are brand new believers and and they've asked us to talk about these these issues really a family life and what we're saying is that the family's function is primarily a gospel preaching function.

That it's in the family where fathers are opening the scriptures, they're teaching the whole council of God, they're bringing the whole gospel to their families when they sit in their house, when they walk by the way, when they lie down, and when they rise up. And so what we feel like we're doing really is training a new generation how to preach the gospel from one generation to the next so that the light of the gospel doesn't go out in the world. And so that's what we're doing. We're saying the function of manhood is a gospel preaching function. The function of womanhood is to come alongside a man to create a beautiful and happy kingdom so that that kingdom is proclaimed in the community and in the church and all over the world.

So that's pretty much what we're about. Almost all of our speeches are on that subject. And every speech that we give includes elements of family life, but primarily and overwhelmingly. The beauty, the glory, the life-giving nature, the waters of life flowing from heaven through the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what we're trying to do here.
