Shame is the opposite of glory. Shame is the exposure of one's actual, internal defilement. When we are shamed, someone exposes our sinfulness and defiled character.
Glory is the outward manifestation of inward excellence. God's glory is when His excellence is revealed. God's glory is the outward manifestation of His inward excellence.
Well, this word glory, from which you get the word glorious, they use the God of glory. I'm not to talk about the word glory in the Bible and its opposites. Shame is the opposite of glory. Shame is the exposure of one's actual internal defilement and baseness. And baseness.
And so when we are ashamed someone exposes our sinfulness, our defiled character. Glory on the other hand is the outward manifestation of inward excellence. When someone is glorified, we speak, we communicate, we reveal how excellent they are in some way. And God's glory is when His excellence is revealed. So when we say that God is glorious, we're saying that His name, Psalm 8, is excellent in all the earth.
God's revelation of Himself has shown what an excellent being He is, how He excels, everything else. And this has manifested His glory and His excellence. Glory is basically, God's glory is the out-manifestation of His inward excellence.
