The demons know about God's sovereignty, power, mercy, and judgement. They know that Jesus Christ came to die on the cross for sins, rose again on the third day, and sits on the right hand of the Father. They know that He is above principalities and powers.

But they do not believe that He died on the cross for their sins.

They do not believe that God loves them. They do not believe that God gave His son for them. Belief is a personal appropriation of the work of Christ for us. We are to believe that God died on the cross for our sins. We must believe that He loves us and gave Himself for us.

This is substantially different than the belief of the demons.

Well, the demons know about God's sovereignty. They know about his power. They know about his mercy and his judgment. They know that Jesus Christ came to die on the cross for sins, rose again on the third day. They know that he's on the right hand of the father.

They know that he's above principles and powers, but they do not believe that He died on the cross for their sins. They don't believe that God loves them. They know that God is love, but they do not know that, and they do not believe that God loves them, and that God gave his son for them. And belief is a personal appropriation of the work of Christ to us, for us. So we are to believe that Jesus Christ came to die on the cross for our sins, that he loved me and he gave himself for me.

That's substantially different than the belief the demons hold to and that is that that all these things happened but it is not appropriate to them. You
