Is it possible for an unconverted child to truly enjoy the Lord?

Dr. Joel Beeke states in this video that an unconverted person, whether they are a child or an adult, cannot truly enjoy the Lord. His or her conscience is always speaking against them. There is no love for the Lord and His ways. 

You must be born again and repent for your sins and trust that His Word is true. Then, you will experience true happiness and enjoy God. 

1 John 3:1 (NKJV) - "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him."

The question is sometimes asked, how can an unconverted person or an unconverted child, for example, enjoy the Lord? Well, I'll tell you the bad news before the good news. The bad news is An unconverted person, whether a child or an adult, really can't enjoy the Lord. Because your conscience is always speaking against you. And you don't have that love, that burning, zealous love inside of you for enjoying the Lord as you should.

And so you need to be born again. You need to repent of your sins. You need to lay all your weapons of self-searching for happiness down. You need to fall before the Lord and believe Him and believe His word and believe in His Son and trust that His word is true. When it says, happy is the man who has the Lord God of Israel for his help.

You can only enjoy God when you have God. Where can I find Him? I need God to really enjoy life and its purpose. I need God. You
