How does God bring a Christian delight and enjoyment?

Dr. Carlton McLeod explains in this video that we enjoy God because He has created us and has given us so much. He loves us with an unfathomable love. 

When we consider all that He has given us, it is natural for us to desire Him and His ways even more. It is natural for us to grow in our thankfulness and appreciation for Him. 

Psalm 37:4 (NKJV) - "Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

God is enjoyable because He loves you. God is enjoyable because He created you. God is enjoyable because He's given you so many promises that demonstrate that love and that deep care for you. God is enjoyable because He sent His Son to do for you what He could not, which you could not do on your own. When we consider the life that he's given us, the time that he's given us, the friends that he's given us, the family that he's given us, all these things he's given us so that we might not only enjoy those but direct our attention back to to him.
