How can wives and young women glorify God?

Jason Dohm explains in this video that God has called mothers and wives to glorify God within the home. Each person is called to glorify God but each of us do that in different ways. Young women, for instance, should not underestimate their ability to glorify God within the home. 

A home-centered life does not have to be a home-confined life. Women do not have to be confined to the home; rather, they can be quite busy participating in things outside of the home. Yet, the focus of mothers and wives ought to be home-centered. 

John 15:8 (NKJV) - 'By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

God has called women to lives that are home-centered. And what that has to mean is that they can glorify God in the life that God has given them centered in the home. Because our purpose is to glorify God, and so if God has pointed you at a certain kind of life, you must be able to glorify God that way. To young women, I would say a couple of things. One is don't underestimate your ability to glorify God in the home.

A healthy, productive home doesn't magically happen. It happens through diligence, through care, through hard work. And the second thing, and so give yourself the diligence and care and hard work in the home so that the home can be healthy and productive. A healthy and productive home is beautiful and wonderful and helps the members of that home live healthy and productive lives. So give yourself to that and it glorifies God.

The second thing is a home-centered life doesn't have to be a home-confined life. Your activities can be centered on the home, but that doesn't mean you're always at home. That all happens within the four walls of the home. So don't think that you're being called to a life that never goes off the property. I think the women who are running homes in very effective ways find themselves out and about doing a number of activity and having variety in their day and being off the property a fair amount even though their activities are centered on the home.
