What is the relationship between the glory of God and His revelation to His creation?

In this video, Tom Ascol explores the concept of God's glory and its manifestation in His truth and revelation to His creation. He likens it to a child's perspective of their mother, where the child sees and loves everything that makes their mother who she is—her motherness or motherhood. Similarly, the glory of God encompasses everything that is in God and is revealed through His words and actions.

God's glory is evident in various aspects of creation. The beauty and grandeur of the heavens, with the sun, moon, and stars declare the glory of God. The created world reflects His glory and magnificence. Additionally, God's glory will be fully recognized and experienced by all of creation when He sends the Lord Jesus back to restore and reconcile all things. As creatures made in His image, we have the capacity to recognize and appreciate the glory of God, finding both amazement and joy in His manifestation.

Psalm 19:1 (NKJV) echoes the declaration of God's glory in creation: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork."

The glory of God is the Godness of God. It is everything that is in God that manifests His truth and revelation to His creation. It's kind of like what A child would see about his mother, think about his mother. It's everything that the mother is that causes a child to love his mother. It's her motherness or her motherhood.

God's glory is manifested in everything that he says and everything that he does. So we see God's glory in creation. Every night when the sun goes down, the moon comes up, the stars come out, the scriptures tell us that those heavens declare the glory of God. And God is glorified in all that He has made and one day His glory is going to be seen and recognized by all of creation when He sends the Lord Jesus back into this world to make everything right. So we as His creatures made in His image are able to recognize the glory of God and just be amazed by it and really to rejoice in it as well.
