What roles should a father play in the spiritual growth of his family?

Emulating Jesus, a father should allow his family to hear him pray, not only for their physical well-being but also for their souls and spiritual growth.

I think when we watch the Lord Jesus, if we pay attention, we see him doing things that actually come up later in the apostolic writings that they got from him. Several things that we'll notice. At the end of the Lord's Supper, Christ sang a hymn as they went out at the end of that Passover meal, which was common for the Jews. I believe that a father should let his children hear him sing. In Luke 19, Christ wept over Jerusalem. A father should let his children hear him praying and weeping over the lost and even their own souls.
