Is modern feminism truly pro-woman or is it betraying the inherent uniqueness and value of women?
In this video, Robert Bosley argues that despite the claims of being pro-woman, our society, influenced by modern feminism, is actually fostering a culture that undermines the true value of women. He notes the societal pressures for women to either adopt masculine qualities or be reduced to mere objects of lust. This, he asserts, is a distortion of the true nature of womanhood as ordained by God. Womanhood, he suggests, is not about mirroring men or being sexual objects, but about embracing the unique qualities that women possess.
Bosley encourages daughters to take pride in their womanhood, affirming that being a woman is about recognizing one's beauty and inherent worth as a unique creation of God. He emphasizes that women are intended to be helpers to their husbands, not rulers, and that this is a good and honorable role. He also discourages the societal pressure for women to imitate men, instead urging women to find joy and pride in their femininity and the unique roles they play in the family and society.
Proverbs 31:30 (NKJV): 'Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.'
Despite all the claims of feminism and being pro-woman, we have a society that really hates women. Just as men are trying to be made into women, we have a society that wants to make women into men, as if there's no distinction between the two, or they are interchangeable. And obviously, that's not true. Women are told that they're going to be most valued and most valuable if, on the one hand, they become men, or on the other hand, if they just become objects of lust. And neither of these is true.
With our daughters we want, we're wanting to encourage them to embrace being a woman, which means yes, recognizing that you are beautiful, that there is a uniqueness that is specific to your sex as a woman made in the image of God. You are intended to be a helper to the husband that the Lord willing give you one day. You are not to rule. You're not to have that lead. And that's a good thing.
God made you that way. So it's a good thing that you want to be like your mom and be helping her in the house, with the household duties. Helping her with these things. No, you don't have to do what society says and do what men are doing. We want to embrace and promote and be joyful in the idea that God made you to be a woman, and it's good that you can embrace your desires to be pretty and to dress up and do all these things.
That's a good desire.
