In his sermon, Conrad Mbewe emphasizes the critical role of parents in discipling their children. He highlights the importance of nurturing their character and guiding them towards faith in Jesus Christ. By doing so, children are prepared to contribute to the building of God's church, which consists of individuals and families working together. The sermon underscores the necessity of laying a strong foundation now to ensure the growth and strength of the church and families for future generations.
There's no doubt that those of us who have been given children by the grace of God as we marry should ensure that we are discipling our children who are first of all working hard to build their characters, working hard to point them to the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, that they might put their faith in Him. And then out of that context, they are seeking to build God's church, because it comprises individuals and families and so forth in the work that lies ahead of us within our generation, but also building for future generations. Because you really want to see a foundation laid that will ensure a better church with better families in years to come.
