And the answer to the question in Malachi 2.15 is God seeks godly offspring. He actually wants more worshipers on earth. So this really applies to every generation. You can't find a generation and say, well, no, it doesn't apply here.

And in fact, when evil is increasing, when the rejection of God is increasing, would that be a time when it's more important or less important? The answer is probably more important. The world needs people who have seen who God is and who know who they are and know that those things are irreconcilable and know that the Bible offers us the hope that God has sent a son into the world to die for sinners. And it's freely offered, and you can have it for no money. It's offered without price.

We need more of those people in the world as evil increases, not less. And so really, this is the church's finest time to wrap our minds around what God wants. He wants a godly offspring. Why does he want that? Because he wants his kingdom as a good kingdom and many wants it to spread.
