He should seek wisdom.

He should seek guidance from God and the Lord will provide as Daniel did when faced with the challenging situations in Daniel chapter 2. He relied on prayer. He obeyed the Lord's Word. He studied the Word of God. That's what a young man should do.

But also he should cultivate meaningful relationships with fellow believers for accountability, for encouragement, like David and Jonathan. They love one another but in spiritual things they sought to care for one another's souls. But also fostering a community of faith, a community that is spiritual, a community that is built on the word of God amongst the secular society. Society around us are secular, it is anti-God, as Babylon was, but to build a community that is godly and spiritual, that is standing strong in opposition to these things.
