The Bible calls God’s men to act like men. But what does this mean? In this talk, Kevin Swanson will break it down in simple, yet biblical terms: Strength. Sobriety. Fear of God. Love. Conquerors. Heads of Households. Courageous . . . like Jesus.

Let's start this evening in the Word of God. Please turn to 1st Corinthians 16 13 if you have it It's just one verse tonight one verse 1st Corinthians 16 13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let's pray. Amen. Be strong.

Let's pray. Almighty God, Father, Jesus, our Savior, please help us to be strong. Amen. These are hard times. My heart is in agony over the church of Jesus Christ in this country.

I've traveled the world, but I come back to America. And the church here is languishing in general. I'm preaching through Romans now in my church, and I've reached Romans 9. So I'm preaching through Romans 9 through 11. I feel the pain of the Apostle.

And I think we all should. The Gentile Church of Europe and America and Canada is hurting. It's languishing. You need to feel the agony a little bit. The apostle Paul, who says, I would be accursed that my people would be saved.

And he's extremely passionate and feeling the agony, and I believe that we are there ourselves. Our nation is in its last throes, but it's not so much the nation that I'm as concerned for as for the church, the church here in this country, our churches. We need to cry out to God for his mercy upon our churches. I do believe Scott Brown is right in the introduction to this conference, Western civilization. Our civilization is almost done.

It's pretty much collapsed. That's why I wrote the book, Epoch, the rise and fall of the West which I'd recommend because I think it's the most significant event Since the fall of Rome 476 AD so we were going through a very very serious very difficult time in our Civilization, but it's the church that that we're concerned with we're most concerned about our church the church in this country I I'm not sure we can salvage much of the civilization, and I know there are people out there trying to heal the wounds as lightly as possible, But it's not working. It won't work. I don't think Trump will save the nation. I don't think Trump has what it takes to save a civilization.

So it's the church that is of concern. And I don't know where we are this year. I know we lost at least four of the great lions, the great men of God that have been gifted to the church and to our nation in the last year. Brother John MacArthur, a lion, a real lion of a man of God who did such good things, and James Dobson, Vody Bauckham, Charlie Kirk, others. We saw some more scandals in the church.

And so I think we are in trouble, and we need help, and we need Jesus to help us. And yes, okay, we're very rich. We have so many buildings and so much. So the mega churches have dominated in the last 15 years. And the incredible success of the mega church movement, so rich, so wealthy, so apparently strong, yet so impoverished, so poor, so wretched, naked, and blind.

It's so Laodicea, it's so Sardis, so much dying, but we need, we need, we need Jesus to come. We need to cry out. We need to get up in the upper room, I believe, and pray. I think that's the best thing we can do right now for the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And it is the church we need to see revive.

We want revival. We'd love to see others come into the church, but the church needs revival. We pray for it every time. How many of your churches are praying for revival almost every Sunday? I know a lot of you do.

We cry out to God that He would revive us again. But the breakdown of faith, family freedom, it's all around us, we speak of it. The family is going through three to four generations of brokenness back to the 1967 divorce revolution. But it's been three or four generations, each generation is successively worse than the last one. We're in ten times worse shape than we were in 1960.

1960 ten times worse shaped than 1900 according to the indexes. So it's time to admit these things. We have just enough debt money to pay for our psychotropic drugs to keep us alive as a nation so we won't commit suicide, mass suicide in the next 20 years. But it's just a civilization hanging on by a mere thread. But again, my concern is really the church.

We live in such a post-Christian age today. The world is infecting the church far more than the church is affecting the world around us. We don't have a cultural influence on politics or the culture. It's negligible. It's nothing.

The salt has been desalinated. And it's a hard time for this country and for the church in this country. And I do believe we've seen something of almost a close obliteration of all common grace in human society. Natural love is pretty much all gone, especially with all the chemical developments in terms of abortifacients and the IUD and the day after pill and my calculations is 35% of healthy babies make it out of the womb now. It's not 75%, it's more like 35% make it out of the womb due to the vast use of the IUD and the day after pill and other forms of abortifacients that everybody knows kills tens of millions of babies every year, and yet the church is not able to stand up against this.

The love of so many has grown cold in our nation today. It's really a tough, tough situation that we're facing, And I think it is the lack of common grace God has pulled back, his common grace on human society, especially the Western world. Our number one enemy in human society today, as I see it, and effectively this is what's been discussed in this conference so far, is this is what's causing the apostasy, I believe, more than anything else right now, is feminism and the Jezebel spirit in the churches. And I say this because the last statistics I've seen is 40% of young men, Gen Zers, are coming back into the church and are attending church now, but only 28% of young women. This is the first time I know of in all of human history this has happened.

There's a very interesting sociological development. I don't think you'd see it in any country in any other period of time because feminism is ruining women. It is paving the exit ramps of apostasy in our countries today. And we as the church need to be aware of it. When you speak against it, we stand against the Jezebel spirit.

Absolutely, in our churches, again, this is not my subject tonight. It's been dealt with already. But just to remind us of this. Now, again, the world has nothing to offer us. The world is to be ignored.

The world is messed up beyond all recognition. We call it a Mubar. It's beyond anything we should ever look to. We have nothing we want from the universities, nothing we want from the social media, nothing we want from the mainstream media. The world has nothing for us.

It is the word of God we need to go to. We need to come right back to what God said and trust the Word of God at this conference. Every single rational Christian thinker, Christian in the country needs to come back to the very word of God now. Now here's the other thing I think we need to point out is that the dysfunctionality that we're dealing with and the breakdown of the human family has been very much institutionalized. And the self-worship involved in killing the babies and pornography and the addiction to self-worship and self-gratification is out of control and it's been enabled by institutions.

It's embedded into the institutions of our nations, something that wise civilizations would never have done. Even if it had been a pagan civilization, they would not have done everything they could to destroy childbirth, marriage, and all the rest. Sexuality, of course, as well. So these sort of civilizations do not last, they go away, but it's for Christians to wake up and realize the devastation that we're facing today. Now I think the number one indication of brokenness in the nation, The fundamental area of brokenness is manhood, and that's my subject tonight.

I caught a statistics about 15 years ago, it's far worse today, but came from Newsweek Magazine, 70% of young men not grown up by 30 years of age, up from 30% in 1970. That was a huge, huge concern. That's why I started mentoring young men some 15 years ago, because I knew that we'd have to do this. This is absolutely essential for the salvaging of future marriages and family. And if we're gonna have anything of a church in the years to come, we've got to do this 2 Timothy 2, 2.

We can't rely on these large institutions, universities, and even seminaries to raise up the next generation of mighty men of God. It's gonna happen a Jesus way through discipleship, one-on-one, one-on-three, living in our homes, raised up in our local churches. It's a desperate age in which We're just going to have to go back to what Jesus did. And that is one-on-one focus on faith and character in the local church, every pastor spending a percentage of his time in the discipleship of the next generation that they would be ready to disciple the next generation and so forth. It's so critical, so, so critical.

70% of young men not grown up by 30 years of age, up to 30% in 1970, and some 80%. And this statistic is pretty much everywhere. I haven't seen anything that really contradicts this statistic, but 80% of young men are addicted to the wrong websites. And you know that's going to produce some very, very dysfunctional future marriages and all the rest. Well, I've been to hundreds of homeschool conferences around the world, especially around the United States in the last 27 years, and I asked this controversial question.

I almost always do, I just did in Wyoming this last weekend. And the question is this, why do homeschooling moms come home to raise their daughters to leave home? Now, I say it because I think somebody needs to put it on the table. I think somebody needs to ask the question. It's an interesting sociological question.

And I think we should be at least curious about why homeschooling moms would come home. Mary Pride, you know, so many years ago, talked about us coming home into home school, right? That was the big thing. But why did they come home to raise their daughters to leave home? And that's the majority in our home schooling movement today.

And I believe the answer is very simple, because 70% of young men are not grown up by 30 years of age, up from 30% in 1970. It's a sociological answer to a sociological question. And it demonstrates the desperation of our situation today. And that is, I think homeschooling moms understand, this is the last generation. There cannot be anything after this.

As we see the decline of manhood, Women will try to hang on to some semblance of a civilization. They are somewhat conservative in this way, and they will try to hang on to some kind of an economy. They'll send their daughters off to work. But this is the end. That's what they're assuming.

It's the end. But brothers and sisters, not for us. Not for us. As I present the problem to you tonight, I'll tell you what. There's only one solution I can think of and that is not going to be a political solution to this problem.

The only thing that will save the situation we are dealing with tonight is a miracle of God. The supernatural, powerful working of Almighty God through the Spirit of God. Just coming into the hearts and minds of young men listening tonight and realizing they need the salvation of Jesus. Only Jesus can help us now. That's the only conclusion I believe we can draw from seeing the desperate conditions that we're facing in this generation, my friends.

Jesus can save you from self-worship. There's nothing that can cleanse and set us free from the idolatry of our hearts like the blood of Jesus Christ and the redemption of our Lord and Savior. This is why He came. Jesus can smash the self-idolatries. Jesus can come in and crush the feminist spirit, destroy the pride of women and the lust of men and the self-worship that so dominates in an existentialist age.

Jesus can beat it down. Jesus can overcome this sin. He has come to set the captives free. He has come to save us from our sins. He did it, and He's doing it in our lives, even now.

Anybody else say amen besides this guy right here? Thank you. I think we need to believe in Jesus. We need to believe His sovereign power, believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God into salvation for those who believe. You just got to believe it's powerful.

It's God's power. It's God's salvation. It's a God-sized powerful gospel that really can save us. Anybody believe that tonight? You've got to believe the power of God.

You've got to know that if God comes with his gospel, if it is the power of God and the salvation, he will save us. And he has come to do it himself. He's rolled up his sleeves and he has come alone to bring about a powerful salvation for us because he is mighty to save tonight as he is anywhere just for men and women, young men and young women to listen to the message and say, amen to that. Yes, I believe in Jesus. He can save me from this utterly desperate condition that I see my society, my friends are in this, and he could save me.

I know it. I just know it. And it's the real grace of God that will transform family life through the generations. And I've heard testimonies from many of you this weekend. I'm so thankful.

Many of you have said, I'm first generation. God pulled me out of my sin and misery. I was in the very depths of it, but God saved me in a miraculous way, and I believe this can happen into the generations as well as I can testify in my life. But the catalyst to real revival as I see it, my friends, tonight, the catalyst to real revival in the church is going to be the revival of men. The repenting of men, the reviving and the resurrection of men have been all over the world.

And I tell you what, I get the question so often in the Q&A sessions on, you know, family conferences and I think Uganda or Malawi or places like this. I never believe, you know, some woman will raise her hand and say, you know, you would talk about family worship, but how do I get my husband to do it, to get him off the couch, and it's the same thing I hear in America, you hear it all over the world, you know what? It'll take a miracle. It'll take a resurrection from the dead for a man to be revived, to understand the importance of the Word of God, that is His very life, His very life and the very life of His family is going to be found in the Word of God. Where else will we go?

God only, Jesus only has the words of eternal life. That's only going to happen by a resurrection. It's going to happen by men who come alive. I think there's something to be said for Acts 2, 1 Pentecost, in which Peter addressed the men and brethren. And yes, eventually we go on to see households involved, etc.

But initially, coming out of the gate, in the Pentecostal preaching of the Apostle Peter from the very first, what do we find? The message is to men and brethren, they're the ones cut to the heart, They're the ones crying out, oh, brethren, what shall we do to be saved? Same thing for the Philippian jailer. So it's not gonna start with the Vacation Bible School for the little 10-year-olds in the community. No, no, no, it's gonna start with men.

Men who have faced with their own sin come alive to the truth of their need for Jesus. That's where it begins. I believe it's the heart of all revivals. When the hearts of the fathers turn to the children, children to the fathers, in a New Testament style Reformation revival. You know, I'm so tired of fake life and fake revivals that's happening in Kentucky or California.

I hear these stories all the time. I don't cover them on our newscasts because I just, you know, I'm not interested in thousands of baptisms out on the California coast, and the development of these large mega churches and all the rah rah. What we need is real life, real gospel power, transforming families, Getting these kids out of the public schools. Getting them into a family discipleship orientation where yes, the hearts of the fathers turn into the children. Children to the fathers.

In a New Testament style form of family discipleship. I mean, this seems to be the prophetic word that comes from Joel 2 and in Acts chapter 2, as well as Malachi chapter 4. So what we're looking for is real transformation of marriage, real transformation of manhood into biblical manhood, and a transformation of culture and marriage and politics. And you know, You don't see that until it's really embedded itself in the discipleship of the communities within these churches. So that's what we're looking for.

And let me just say this. Show me an evangelical church with a birth rate 5.4 or 4.6 on average. Somebody once said, if church isn't crying, it's dying. So let's get a little more crying going on in here too. I love to hear children crying during the preaching, don't you?

I mean, it's something we want to hear, we want to see this. And when the average birth rate of the average evangelical church is hovering around 1.6 or 1.72, whatever Christianity today just mentioned it to be, it's dying, it's worldly, it's not transformed. There's something wrong with, I'm not saying it's the only index. There are many others, of course. It's to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength, loving one another, loving the children, not killing the children with IUDs and birth control pills and all the rest of them.

It's the point at which men and women will give up of themselves, sacrifice of themselves for pure love for God and love for their children, to have the children, disciple the children they love by teaching them God's Word as they sit in the house, as they walk by the way, as they rise up, as they lie down. Isn't that what we want? Isn't that the indication of real transformation? Anybody want the real stuff? Anybody want real, real grace, real gospel, really transforming people's lives in our churches today, oh, that God would bring this to our churches all across the country.

Spread it around the world. The world has affected too much of our churches today. The catalyst for the revived church is godly biblical manhood. I believe everything else will follow. That's why I'm not as concerned for the 28 percent of young women who are out of, I'm sorry, who have attending church.

Seventy-two percent are just gone. Exit ramp of apostasy, There they've gone. But you've got 40% of young men coming back in. That's a good sign. And I'm seeing it in our community as well.

I've been open to discipling young men. I have more than I can handle now. I can't do more than 14 to 16 a week in all my discipleship work. But men, they're coming out of the woodwork. Something's happening with the young men.

Hallelujah. And you know what? If they come back, the women will come back. It'll start with the men. It'll start with the revival of fathers and young men that are listening to this message tonight, that's where it's gonna start.

And then it works out into the reviving of churches and the discipleship of the nations. May God bring this back to us. So tonight I wanna ask the question, who are these men of God? Where are these men coming back, being revived? What is this?

I want you to forget the distractions, forget this big manosphere thing. We had a little bit of this Manosphere, tough guy, macho, Christian dude thing in part of the homeschooling movement 20 years ago, I remember this. And it just fizzled on us, there's something wrong with it. Some of you may remember it, something wrong with that. I don't want that, I want something real, I want something biblical, something that, what does God say, How does God define it?

That's what matters more than anything else. So the number one thing here, I'm just going to give you a few things that we get from Scripture. Number one, this is first and foremost, and I know most of you probably have thought this immediately, and that is that men need themselves to come face to face with Jesus Christ, their Lord, on the road to Damascus. That's got to happen first. Men, you've got to have an encounter with the living God, with the risen Jesus.

That's number one, absolutely. Fallen down on your face, crying out with Isaiah, oh God, I'm a man of unclean lips, cleanse me, oh God, with a coal from the altar. What would you have me to do? I love the 180. Here's Apostle Paul charging down the road to persecute more Christians in Damascus.

Does the 180, Jesus smacks him right down there, and he's saying, Lord, what will you have me to do? So that's number one. Number one is to bow the knee to Jesus Christ, come face to face with the living God, and then two words, brothers, Two words, follow Jesus, follow Jesus. Number two, here's the number two thing that I believe is essential. I bring this out because Titus 2, Titus 2 speaks of what the message is to the young men.

Teach the young men to be sober. And my brother just mentioned this towards the end, didn't have enough time, so I gave him more time. Okay brother, I'm gonna expand a little bit on your point. But to sobriety, so important sobriety. The one thing, teach the young men to be sober.

Sobriety is a right estimation of the reality of God. Believe it is the fear of God. Fundamentally, sobriety is the fear of God. The beginning of wisdom and knowledge, a holy reverence for God, a magnified perception of the power of God, the holiness of God, the goodness of God, the grace of God, all converging at the cross of Jesus, just to have an overwhelming sense of the powerful and essential meaning of these terms, of these realities. Men need to see this.

The little boy without much sobriety is escaping. He's isolating, escaping, and entertaining. The entertainment world is there for un-sober men. They're off into alcohol, they're off into drugs, but really these days just off into entertainment and sports. They're just not sober.

It's the kid in the foxhole with the other guys, hand grenades rolling all over the place, and bullets just flying, and the other guys are just defending the hole and all the rest. And this kid, the 17-year-old kid's playing a little video game on his phone. He's watching little comedies on YouTube. You know, what do you think? He's like, man, I gotta say that guy.

They're gonna knock him probably in the head with a gun, knock him out so that he's not in the way of everybody else. He's just, the problem with a young man like that, he's not woken up to the sobriety, the reality of what we're dealing with, this life and death situation, heaven and hell at stake for ourselves, for our children, for our churches, for our community, just not aware, not realizing the eternality of the soul and tipping over the very precipice of eternity facing either heaven or hell at this point, not realizing the sobriety, the intense reality of who God is and what sin is against a holy God. So again, these men aren't drawn into these sober messages. God bless Jeff Pollard's message this morning. I just love that sobriety.

I just, man, it just connects me more with that reality of God, my sin, my need for Jesus. This is, these are the kind of men we want, so, are sober, God-fearing, recognizing the reality they're dealing with. But then let's get to our verse now. This is the quintessential characteristic of biblical manhood. Just very much summarized here in 1 Corinthians 16, 13.

Here it is. Watch ye stand fast in the faith. Quit ye like men, be strong. Word in the ESV, I think it's very well put, as well as the KJV, act like men. Be a man.

Be manly. Quintessential characteristic of men, be a man, be strong. It's strength. What we need is strength. We're living in an age of weakness and brokenness.

Men are folding like a cheap suit. Men don't follow through. Men are weak, just weak. Proverbs 24 verse 10, if you faint in the day adversity, your faith is small. It's a problem.

The Bible does not commend the weakness of faith, primarily faith, strength in faith. The thing that matters more than anything else, men gotta be the strongest, gotta be the stronger ones, gotta be strong, that's it, that's the message. Be strong. That's why I wrote the little book on strength and strong on this verse, because I think it's the greatest need of the day, I think it's the greatest need of the day. I think it's the greatest need of the day.

You wanna boil it down. I'm always struggling to identify what's the spirit saying to the churches. What is the word? Boil it down for me. I don't have this big theological brain.

I can't do the 700 page, oh actually I do write a lot of 700 page books. I'm sorry about that. But I gotta know the one thing that we need more than anything else, and I believe this is it. I think it's strength. It's to be strong, my friends.

In 1 John 2, 14, we find what it is for a young man to make it out of the crib. Okay, this is what it is not to be a child and playing in the crib, the spiritual crib, on Sundays anymore, this is what it is. Number one, you're strong. I write to young men because you're strong. That's number one, you're strong.

Word of God abides in you and you have overcome the evil one. In other words, you have gone into battle. You have put on the whole armor of God, you have marched into battle. And by the way, when the Word of God speaks of battles, hand-to-hand kind of thing, it's not sitting out in Phoenix, Arizona somewhere working a little control thing for some kind of machine that's pounding people in Iran. No, no.

This is the kind of warfare where you run out and you have these gigantic orcs or monsters or whatever they are, and you run out and you start swinging the sword and they're trying to poke you with their swords. And you got a pretty significant chance of getting mowed down in the conflict. It takes courage. That's why, again, the word of God says, we gotta be courageous. We're gonna take the promised land, Joshua is giving the first orders to God's people.

What does he say? Above all, Joshua 1, 7, above all, be strong and very courageous. This is the quintessential need. This is the most important characteristic for every young man of God, that you have gone into battle. You have, you know what it is to clip the arm off of the evil one, you've overcome that spiritual temptation on the internet and you have walked away with dragon blood on your tennis shoes.

And you have a taste, for maybe the first time in his spiritual life, you've got a taste of what it is to win in Jesus. And you love it, you love it. Somebody relate to that, just say amen, do you relate to that, amen to that. Yeah, Or you can just say yeah, yeah. One of my favorite passages, and some of you have to put up with me, because I love this passage, Second Samuel 23, what can we say?

Why is this here? Why is this chapter here in the Bible? Well? It's here for spiritual reasons I believe so and it's for every I think red-blooded American Christian male to just go yeah Because here for 40 years David by God's grace has a little bit of an edge on the kingdom of God. You have to establish a little territory for God's kingdom, and it continued under Solomon's reign.

So in the Old Testament you get a little success for the kingdom, and the catalyst is what? How do we gain success in the kingdom, in the church, in the work that we're doing for Jesus in our day as we're taking the land ourselves in one way or another, disciple in the nations, whatever it is. How do we do it like they did? 2 Samuel 23 applied in a spiritual sense. These be the names of the mighty men whom David had, the Tacmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains.

The same was Adonai, the Hezniot, lift up his spear against 800, whom he slew at one time. At one time, 800 at one time? What were these guys doing, Lining up? There's something here for us. After him, Eliezer, the son of Doedot the Ahoy, one of three mighty men with David, defied the Philistines that were gathered together in battle.

He arose and smote the Philistines till his hand was weary, his hand cleaved to the sword, and the Lord wrought a great victory that day, and the people returned after him only to spoil. And after Shammah, I love Shammah, I've got to name your son Shammah, somebody, please. Shammah, the son of Agi the Herarite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop where was a piece of ground full of lentils and the people fled from the Philistines. There he was all by himself in the field, stood in the midst of the ground, defended it, slew the Philistines and the Lord brought about a great victory.

Woo! There's a lesson for us all. Three of the thirty chief went down, came to David, and the harvest time, the cave of Adalim and the troop of the Philistines pitched the valley of Arifahim. And David was in the whole garrison of the Philistines within Bethlehem. David long said, Oh, how that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate.

And the three mighty men break through the host of the Philistines, drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate and took it and brought it to David. Nevertheless, he would not drink thereof, but poured it out into the Lord, said, be far from me, O Lord, that I should do this. It's not just the blood of the men that went in jeopardy for their lives. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.

Abishai, the brother of Joab, son of Jeriah, was chief among three. He lifted up a spear against 300, slew him, had the name among three. Beniah, the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, a cabseal, who had done many acts. He slew two lion-like men of Moab, went down also, slew a lion in the midst of a pit in a time of snow. He slew an Egyptian, a goodly man.

The Egyptian had a spear in his hand, went down to him with a staff and plucked this spear out of the Egyptian's hand and slew him with his own spear. Hallelujah. Now again, applied in the spiritual realm. I do believe we gotta do this. What is this?

This is courage. This is the willingness to face the Goliath, the Goliath of your own life, the Goliath of your churches, of your cultures. This is David running at the giant, just running at the giant. Who is this uncircumcised felicity? You should defy the armies of living God.

This is courage acting despite your fears. This is a commitment to battle. Baniah, the lion in the pit, time of snow. Hey, that's commitment. Somebody's gonna come out alive, somebody's gonna come out dead.

Okay, you gonna sign up for that? You gonna get into the pit, time of snow, slippery, can't get out, time of snow, you're pretty much stuck there. That's a commitment. He's gonna have to tear that line apart piece by piece. Just gonna have to commit himself to it.

Does everybody get it? This is it, it's the courage, it's loyalty. Loyalty to the Master, loyalty to Jesus. Whatever you want Jesus, Jesus breathes out, oh a little water from the well of Bethlehem, we're gonna run through, we're gonna risk our lives for Jesus, or do it for his people. Do it for the persecuted church, Do it for the brother in the church.

There's so much of a lack of loyalty to brothers. I know so many churches, people will lay their lives down for the truth, but they would not lay their lives down for the brother. That's a problem. That's a huge problem. Oh no, we ought to be willing to lay our lives down for the brother as well as the truth.

This is why churches don't survive. There is this spirit of love and loyalty going on within the churches themselves, But the word I think I like the best is resilience. Just a resilience to just keep standing. Whatever happens, continuing to stand. And to stand.

To stand. Whatever happens. Shama, everybody else leaves. Scandals everywhere. Pastors are falling right and left.

Take the stand, take the stand. Continue on. Two minutes, that's ridiculous. I love you, Scott. No, no, this is the message.

You already got the core message. That's it. Stronger faith. Stronger faith. Faith in God.

Strengthening faith. Brothers, we need to be leading in faith. We need to be strongest in faith, in our homes, in our churches. Calling you to this tonight. Strong in prayer, I would that men everywhere pray with the lifting up holy hands without wrath and without doubting.

A boldness that men are the ones strengthened in faith such that they will pray, not waiting for the women to raise their hands in the worship. Oh no! Men are, they're in front, they're raising hands. They're entering the courtroom of Almighty God to bring in the petitions that are so needful for the family and for the church. And The crying need of the day, men to pray, men to pray.

This is absolutely essential in all my discipleship. One requirement for the men that are disciples, they all pray at the end of the meeting every time. We need men to pray more than anything else. I'm calling on men to pray tonight. I pray for more men to pray.

If men would pray, that would be the beginning of revival. I was in a small church in England. I told Scott this, and the men, 38 men in that upper room, sweaty up there, it was elbow to elbow. In Pastor Puyon's church on a Sunday afternoon, they were all praying. It was phenomenal.

I'd never seen anything like it. And I said to myself, revival. And I knew it. He packed out the congregation with all the street preaching, the guys tattooed, et cetera, coming into the church, standing room only to hear the word of God. Why?

Because men prayed. Oh, that men would pray. Oh, that men would realize their need to pray for their wives, for their families. This is the most fundamental thing. This is the most fundamental thing.

I have a whole section on being like Jesus. Follow Jesus. Go with Jesus. The strongest ever is Jesus. Strong to save and strong for us.

He's our example. Follow Jesus. I don't have any more time. But you know what I sense there are men who just right now, we can't just hear this, amen guys? Can't just hear this, amen guys?

I'm gonna be over here afterwards praying just for a few minutes. I'm just gonna stand over here. I'm gonna pray in this corner. And any guy who wants to pray with me. You got something to pray for?

You got a family to pray for? You got a church to pray for? You got a wife to pray for? You gonna lift up holy hands? We're gonna pray.

We'll be stronger in prayer, stronger in faith. That's what we need to be. Let's close in prayer. Our Father God, God we pray for the reviving of men, a spiritual sense, God that your word would penetrate, that the gospel would open eyes tonight. Through this conference, oh pray, pray that the men would see their need for Jesus, that they would run to Jesus, their faith in God would increase, like Gideon of old, who was a little scared at first, but before you know it, he's taken 300 men out against 140, 000.

We're like Moses. God, raise up men like Moses, afraid to speak, and then ready to stand at the Red Sea, raise a rod and say, watch this. God, I pray you'd increase the faith of these men, these fathers, these pastors, elders, these young men. God we pray that men would pray everywhere in all the churches with the lifting of holy hands without wrath, without doubting. God I pray for mercy upon the church.

Oh Jesus, you love the church far more than we do. Oh, you care for the body. You so care for the body. Now raise it up to faith and hope and love. May men lead their families in these things, in Jesus' name, amen.
