So last week we looked at death and how that there is no intermediate state. You either go to heaven or hell. Are looking more at chapter 2 has more to deal with ourselves putting on immortality, leaving the sinful flesh, and then being raised in newness of life. And we will look, we read a couple verses in 1st Corinthians chapter 15, pretty much the whole chapter deals with it, but we will look at 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verse 35 through 38 and then we'll drop down, but we'll start reading there. Again, 1st Corinthians 15 verse 35.

But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened except it die. And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that the body that shall be, but bear gain. It may chance of wheat or some other grain, but God giveth it a body, as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another of flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial, but the glory of the celestial is one and the glory of the terrestrial is another and we'll skip down to verse 42 and read down to verse 44. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption. It is raised in incorruption.

It is sown in dishonor and raised in glory. It is sown in weakness. It is raised in power. It is sown in a natural body. It is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. So in death the body we now have goes back to dirt and we are raised with a celestial body. We'll also look at 2 Corinthians 5 verses 1 through 4. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verses 1 through 4. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan earnestly, desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. If so, be that being clothed, we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan. Being burdened, not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up in life." We read 1st Corinthians 4 17, So we'll turn to Daniel chapter 12 in verse 2. Daniel chapter 12 in verse 2 and it says, and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall wake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Turn to John also, John five, John chapter five, and we'll read verses 28 and 29. Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth. They that have done good unto the resurrection of life and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation." Also turn to Acts chapter 24 and verse 15. Acts chapter 24 and verse 15, and have hope toward God which they themselves also allow that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. And last verses we'll look at is found in Job chapter 19.

Job chapter 19, we'll read verses 25 and 26. For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh I will see God. We touched on most everything last weekend in the first chapter there. This was more of the resurrection and if no one else has anything, That's what we will leave off out there.
