Well, in continuing in the theme of the promise and the promises of God, I'm going to do something this afternoon that I don't know that I've ever done exactly this before. And in a, I say this in somewhat of a funny way, this will be one of the most perfect sermons I've ever preached. Amen. And here's why. You will have no commentary from me.

How am I gonna do this? As I was thinking this week, and especially after men's meeting, and just considering the promises of God, my heart was just overfilled and overflowing and I'm of this theme of the promises of God and I was super abundantly blessed by Paul's sharing there on Wednesday night regarding all of the promises of God in the scriptures and so what I have done I have compiled 66 verses, really a few more than that, but I want to share with you a promise of God from every book of the Bible. And that's all I want to do. So you will not be able to follow me, but I will send you my notes if you request that. I'll be glad to give that to you.

So prepare to hear the word of the Lord. Let's pray and ask his blessing upon it. Our Father in heaven, we thank you for your all-sufficient word of God. We thank you, dear God, that you have given us this word as a light unto our path. Lord that you would guide us into all truth because your word is truth and we delight in it Lord.

Lord I pray that your word would be effectual to the blessing of the hearer today. Amen. Genesis and I'm not gonna what I'm gonna do is give you the book of the Bible I'm not gonna go through all the references just for time's sake and giving you all the individual verses but each of these come from each book of the Bible. Genesis, So the Lord God said to the serpent, because you have done this you are cursed more than all cattle and more than every beast of the field. On your belly you shall go and you shall eat dust all the days of your life and I will put enmity between you and the woman between your seed and her seed he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel." Exodus.

And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, The Lord, the Lord God, merciful, gracious, long-suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgressions and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and fourth generation. Leviticus, and you shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples that you should be mine. Numbers, God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent. Has he said and will he not do? Or has he spoken and will he not make it good?

Deuteronomy. The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your midst. From your brethren, him you shall hear. Joshua, this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Have I not commanded you, be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Judges. Then the Lord said to him, Peace be with you. Do not fear, you shall not die.

So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord and called it, The Lord is Peace. Ruth. So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife, and when he went into her the Lord gave her conception and she bore a son. Then the woman said to Naomi, the woman said to Naomi, blessed be the Lord who has not left you this day without a close relative, a Redeemer. And may his name be famous in Israel.

First Samuel, for the Lord will not forsake his people for his great namesake because it has pleased the Lord to make you his people. Second Samuel, as for God his way is perfect, the word of the Lord is proven, he is a shield to all who trust in him. First Kings, And he said, Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like you, who keep your covenant and mercy with your servants who walk before you with all their hearts. You have kept what you promised your servant David, my father. You have both spoken with your mouth and fulfilled it with your hands as it is this day." Second Kings, and the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.

For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant and those who escape from Mount Zion, the zeal of the Lord of Hosts, will do this. First Chronicles, as for you my son Solomon know the God of your father and serve him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Second Chronicles, If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways.

Then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Ezra. And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for our great guilt, since you our God have punished us less than our iniquities deserved and have given us such deliverance as this." Nehemiah, and I said, I pray Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, you who keep your covenant and mercy with those who love you and observe your commandments. Esther. For if you remain completely silent as at this time, Relief and deliverance will arise from the Jews from another place. But if you and your father's house will perish, yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.

Job. But he knows the way that I take. When he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. Psalm, but you, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice and he heard me from his holy hill.

Say law. Proverbs. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. Ecclesiastes.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments for this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil. Song of Solomon. He brought me to the banqueting house and his banner over me was love.

Isaiah, come now and let us reason together says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." And I had to add two in Isaiah. Indeed, he says, it is too small a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the Gentiles that you should be my salvation to the ends of the earth.

Jeremiah. The Lord has appeared of old to me saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore, with loving kindness, I have drawn you. Lamentations. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because his compassion's fail not.

They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Ezekiel, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes and you will keep my judgments and do them." Daniel.

For his dominion is an everlasting dominion and his kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing. He does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth no one can restrain his hand or say to him what have you done Hosea then I will sow her for myself in the earth and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy. Then I will say to those who were not my people, you are my people and they shall say you are my God." Joel. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls. Amos. After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen down. I will rebuild its ruins and I will set it up so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord even all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord who does all of these things. Obadiah, but on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance and there shall be holiness.

The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Jonah, but I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord. Micah, who is a God like you pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage?

He does not retain his anger forever because he delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all of our sins into the depths of the sea. You will give truth to Jacob and mercy to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from days of old. Nahum.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knows those who trust in him. Habakkuk. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Zephaniah, for then I will restore to the peoples a pure language that they may call, that they all may call on the name of the Lord to serve him with one accord. Haggai.

For thus says the Lord of Host, once more it is a little while I shall shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land, and I will shake all nations and they shall come to the desire of nations and I will fill this temple with glory says the Lord of Hosts. Zachariah, and I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and supplication. Then they will look on me whom they have pierced. Yes, they will mourn for him as one mourns for his only son and grieve for him as one grieves for a firstborn. Malachi, behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord and he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

Matthew, and she will bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. Mark. But Jesus looked at them and said, With men it is impossible, but not with God. For with God all things are possible. Luke, behold I send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.

John, this is the will of the Father who sent me, that of all he has given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of him who sent me that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have everlasting life and I will raise him up at the last day. Acts. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all who are afar off as many as the Lord our God will call. Romans.

Therefore having been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. First Corinthians, no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape that you may be able to bear it. Second Corinthians. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me, Sylvanus and Timothy, yet was not yes and no, but in him was yes. For all the promises of God in him are yes and in him amen.

To the glory of God through us, Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us in God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee." Galatians, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Ephesians, in him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of his glory. In him you also trusted after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession to the praise of his glory." Philippians, being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Colossians, he has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. First Thessalonians, for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Second Thessalonians, but the Lord is faithful who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. First Timothy, this is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance for to this end we both labor and suffer approach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. Second Timothy, all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Titus, But when the kindness and the love of our God, the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by his grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Philemon, grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews, for we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. James, confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed.

The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. First Peter, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time. Second Peter, as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue, by which having have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 1st John, he who sins is of the devil for the devil has sinned from the beginning for this is the purpose of God of excuse me for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. Second John, whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God.

He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. Third John, beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. Jude, now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. In Revelation, He who testifies to these things says surely I am coming quickly amen even so come Lord Jesus the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all amen.

Our Father in heaven we thank you for the testimony of the Word of God. We thank you, O God, that your Word is true. We thank you for these abundant and precious promises that you have given to us. Help our soul to rest on these things. We pray in Jesus' name, amen.
