Turn your Bibles to Isaiah chapter 9 and find verse 1. Isaiah 9 verse 1. I'll be reading 1 through seven. This is the inerrant, all-sufficient, sweeter than honey word of God. Nevertheless, the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed, as when at first he lightly esteemed the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward more heavily oppressed her by the way of the sea beyond the Jordan and Galilee of the Gentiles.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy. They rejoice before you, according to the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For you have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor as in the day of Midian, for every warrior's sandal from the noisy battle and garments rolled in blood will be used for burning and fuel for fire.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, in order to establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. Let's pray. Lord, we are so amazed and blessed by the sending of your son. Help us all to grasp it today. Help us all to embrace the glory of Jesus Christ deep within our hearts.

Amen. Please be seated. It was thrilling to sing those songs. It's remarkable. If you look at the theological import of the songs, the Christmas songs, you can you can you can take a You can take a pen and draw a line from almost every verse to a Bible verse.

And they're just so encouraging and full of joy. It's so great to sing them. And well, that's what we're here for today is to really celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ, the sinless son of God into the world. This is the most important thing that has ever happened in the world since creation. God sending Jesus Christ, his only begotten son, being born into the world as the sinless son of God is the most important thing that's happened in the history of the world.

The whole world has been altered because Jesus Christ came. Jesus Christ coming is the most significant event in human history and that's why and it's so obvious that's why he's the subject of millions of songs millions of books billions and billions quadrillions of prayers people meditating and reading billions of conversations about Jesus Christ and Him crucified, hundreds of billions, trillions of dollars given to support the work of Jesus Christ around the world. There are millions of martyrs, there are billions and billions of hours that have been spent worshiping Jesus Christ the Son of God And he comes as a deliverer. 100% God, 100% man, 100% without sin. He's not just a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes.

Now you can see the outline in front of you. You see where I want to go here today. I want to take on the first five verses what he does and then and then finally who he is and we that's where we encounter these four remarkable names of Jesus Christ. At the same time, it's remarkable. It's so striking to see the trivialities of Christmas in America.

It really is a trivialization of Jesus Christ himself. In the actual story of the Bible, the Christmas story, the real Christmas story, there's a cosmic war going on against the seed of the woman. Herod is killing the male children to try to extinguish the Son of God from coming into the world. In contrast you have toys made by elves at the North Pole. You have the humility of Mary and Joseph and Mary singing the Magnificat.

At Christmas we sing Jingle Bells. You have the mighty God, we're going to read about him. You have the mighty God who comes at the same time you have Santa Claus, he's making a list and checking it twice. These are just such category shifts. You have Jesus Christ passing through the heavens to come to earth, or you have Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer coming through the heavens.

You have an everlasting father, or you have this portly old man with a gray beard with a bag of gifts coming down the chimney. You have Magi bringing treasures, you have a virgin birth. So there's a trivialization of the actual Christmas message And we've been singing about it all morning. What a blessing it's been. But he's further trivialized and maybe it's even more devastating that he's thought of as a good example or he's a good teacher.

But the truth is no one can be saved from their sins by a good example and nobody can be saved from their sins by good teaching. People are saved from their sins by believing in Jesus Christ. And that's why this is the most important thing that has ever happened in the world. And the world is constantly miscalculating and misrepresenting and misunderstanding the greatness of the Christmas message. And so that's what we wanna talk about today.

Athanasius, one of the great fathers of the faith in the 4th century, he championed the confession that the son is in the same essence of the father, the homo usias. He was fully God and fully man. He writes this, what mere man or magician or tyrant or king was ever able to do by himself so much. Did anyone ever fight against the whole system of idol worship and the whole host of demons and all magic and all the wisdom of the Greeks at a time when all these were strong and flourishing and taking everybody in as did our Lord the very word of God. Jesus Christ came to crash into a world of darkness.

He goes on he says, yet he is yet he is even now invisibly exposing every man's error and single-handedly is carrying off all men from them all so that those who used to worship idols now tread them underfoot reputed music magicians burn their books and the wise prefer to all studies the interpretation of the Gospels. He continues, he's not done, they are deserting those whom they formerly worshiped, the worship and the confession of Christ as God whom they used to ridicule and whom they crucified. Their so-called gods are routed by the sign of the cross and the crucified Savior is proclaimed in all the world as God and Son of God." And he goes on to talk about how when Jesus Christ enters into a realm, into a kingdom, the kingdom of your heart, that the idols are displaced, that the profanities are replaced with good things. And this text, I think, really speaks of it. Here we are in Isaiah nine.

There are four names of Jesus Christ. You could count five, we can talk about that in a minute. But there are dozens and dozens of names attributed to Jesus Christ. And I don't even know how many names but he's the light of the world. He's as in this passage he's the Prince of Peace, he's the door but all of all of the names of Jesus Christ give us one facet of this diamond of beauty that Jesus Christ is and that's why that's why it is such a terrible sin that is that is explained in the Ten Commandments to take the name of the Lord in vain because His name is wonderful and that's why It's a sin to take the name of the Lord in vain.

So Isaiah nine, it stands in a long line of messianic prophecies in Isaiah and all over the Old Testament. Isaiah chapter seven, verse 14, the virgin birth, Emmanuel, God with us. You have Isaiah 9, Isaiah 11, 16, 32, 42, 43, 49, 52 through 53. There are dozens and dozens of prophecies of Jesus Christ in Isaiah. And it really proves the supernatural nature of Scripture.

When you have so many prophecies that were fulfilled in one man, it's an astonishing thing to consider. You know what is the probability that Jesus Christ would fulfill all of these Old Testament prophecies? Well the odds don't matter because this is a supernatural book. This prophecy in Isaiah 9 was written about 700 years before Jesus Christ was born. And the prophets, They speak about that he would be born, to whom he would be born, and where he would be born, and what he would do after he was born.

And I don't know if you've heard, there's this classic probability argument, a mathematician and astronomer, Peter Stoner, came up with this he cited in a book science speaks he examined eight just eight messianic prophecies from the Old Testament and he was asking what's the probability that any one man could accidentally fulfill just these eight born in Bethlehem preceded by a forerunner just eight The result of his calculation is that the probability is 1 in 10 to the 17th power. In other words, 1 and 17 zeros. That's 100 quadrillion. 1 in 100 quadrillion for eight prophecies, but there are over 300. So the whole matrix of fulfillment of prophecy from the Old Testament in Jesus Christ is astounding.

Well let's look at what he does. Let's look at what Jesus Christ is accomplishing. First of all, the end of gloom. Verse 1, nevertheless the gloom will not be on her who is distressed. Gloom, the Lord Jesus Christ is the source of joy.

Gloom is what you get when you're always staring at the world and not the throne of God. And there's this transition here between chapter 8 and chapter 9. Isaiah is writing his prophecy in the midst of tremendous conflict and war and economic collapse and threats from without an actual soul destruction in the nation. King Ahaz is walking in fear and he's making deals with pagan kings, with Tiglath-Paleaser particularly. Here it is, the king of Israel relinquishes his authority to Tiglath-Paleaser, a pagan king.

He was trusting in princes to protect him. And here Isaiah is writing in the past tense. The events have not yet taken place. It's called the prophetic perfect. He's writing as if they had already happened and Isaiah is kind of writing, speaking as if he's transported far into the future and he's looking back and he's seeing what God has done.

And so chapter 8 is defining the darkness that has come upon the nation and then the whole first part of chapter 9 declares the victory of the sun over the darkness. And I think what Isaiah is making very clear is that there are catastrophes in our lifetimes that take place in the civil realm and the economic realm and the relational realm and they but they all must be seen in light of what God is doing and this is what God is doing. If you've ever been gloomy about the state of the world and the state of your own life the Lord Jesus Christ is here to drive away your gloom. There is no more gloom for those who believe in the Messiah. The second thing, people see a great light.

Verse 2, the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. So you have people, you see this language, dwelling, they're walking in darkness, they're dwelling in the land of the shadow of death. They are inhabiting the shadow of death. They're stuck in it And this is the state of being.

And then the light shines. So kids, think about it like this, alright? Think about, you know what it's like to be in a pitch black, dark room. You've never been in a room that is so black it's blacker than black and you stand up and you don't you don't know where to walk and you're scared and But then someone turns on a flashlight and now you can see But the room didn't change at all. The light changed everything.

The light changed the way that you see everything and this is the light coming into the world and this language of walking you're walking out your life in darkness and then you see the light you see the light this happened this is the This is the great event in the life of every human being who believes in Jesus Christ. They see the light and they're never the same again. And everything in the world looks different now. It's no longer dark. John in his gospel, can't get over talking about this.

In John 1, he says that Jesus is the light that enlightens every man. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it. This was the true light which gives light to every man coming into the world. So you see light.

This is what he does. He opens your eyes and you see light. And the third thing that he does is he increases joy. Verse three, check it out. You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy.

They rejoice before you according to the joy of harvest as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself in John 15 11, He said, these things I have spoken unto you, that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be full. And that's why that Christian joy, it isn't first of all the absence of pain. It's actually the presence of the light of the King of Kings. That's what Christian joy is.

And the way that God has designed his people to function in the world is that they are able to see joy in the midst of every trial. And James speaks so clearly about this. He says, consider it joy when you encounter various trials. So these are the things that he has done. And but then he begins to speak of the Savior as a child, for unto us a child is born." This points to the historical reality of Jesus Christ's birth And Luke 2 12 records the virgin birth, for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord.

And this will be the sign to you. You will find a babe wrapped in swaddling cloths lying in a manger and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying glory to God in the highest and on earth peace goodwill toward men. And so this is the account of the birth of Jesus Christ. You know over the last few weeks we've been reciting the Apostles Creed, which begins with the words, I believe. The longest section in the Creed is focused on Jesus Christ.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. Now It's very easy for people to disbelieve the virgin birth, but I think we should make it very, very clear that the entire doctrine of salvation rests upon the virgin birth. If Jesus Christ was not born of a virgin without sin, the forgiveness of your sins could not be accomplished. So this is such a critical thing. The Bible clearly calls the church to believe in the virgin birth.

And that's why John says in John 1, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld as glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Now, the creed, each section of the Father, then the Son, the Holy Spirit, it begins with the word I believe. I believe in God the Father. I believe in Jesus Christ. And if you if you really believe this, everything will change in your life.

Everything will change. Every relationship, everything that you do will change. And this is what makes the Gospel so hard to swallow because God actually does want to change you and me. I believe is the most significant bombshell statement that you can make. Those words, I believe, they light a fuse.

They blow everything wide open. Because I believe is what defines Christianity. What do you believe? And it's the most transformational, it's the most life-altering thing you can ever do to say I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and I just want to make sure to ask you do you believe? Is there anyone here who does not believe?

Because if you believe, everything will change. And everything will change for the good. In 1 John 5, 1 through 4, John says, whoever believes that Jesus Christ, Jesus is the Christ, is born of God, and everyone who loves him, who begot also, loves him who is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments and his commandments are not burdensome.

And then he says this, for whatever is born of God overcomes the world. Belief is the most powerful force in your life. So what do you believe? It's important that we don't minimize the importance of the virgin birth. You and I were born from a man and a woman.

As a result of being born from a man and a woman, we particularly have passed down to us the sin of Adam. The sin of Adam has passed down because we were born of a man and a woman. Jesus Christ was born of a woman and not a man. Therefore Jesus Christ did not receive a sin nature the way that you and I have received a sin nature. Adam's sin did not pass to him.

He is innocent of Adam's sin. And he, Galatians says he was born under the law. In other words, he kept the law perfectly. He not only did not have a sin nature, he also was a perfect keeper of the law. The only one who was who has been a keeper of the law.

James says if you've broken one law you've broken them all. And so you have here the active obedience of Jesus Christ who keeps the whole law. And this is the heart of our salvation that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. And that's why the Apostle Paul he speaks about this in really clear language in 2 Corinthians 521. He made him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

And so he without a sin nature receives the penalty for the sins of the world for mankind who does have a sin nature. A child is born and then it says here, unto us a son is given. So you have a son that is given. He was with God in eternity past. He was not created.

He was eternally the Son of God. And John explains this in the most famous passage of scripture in the world, John 3 16, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. And then he says he who believes in him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And then he says, and this is the condemnation that light has come into the world and men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. So the Son, the Son comes from eternity past, from the Father's throne.

The Son is given. The Son is actually a gift, the greatest gift. And He is given to you and the question is do you have him do you believe you know are you following him because Christ came to save sinners. And then he says, and the government will be upon his shoulder. This means that Jesus Christ is the governor of the world.

That he is the, as John says in Revelation, that he's the ruler of the kings of the earth. He's the king of kings and he's the Lord of lords. Why is that important? It's because history is not like a runaway horse that's just crashing through everything. You know, We had a cow this morning crash through everything and jump, cleared a fence into another pasture.

Well, history's not like that. It's not random. History is being bridled and directed by the king of kings. And that should be a comfort to all of us. And then we turn to his glory, the glory of his names.

But this language is so helpful, I don't want us to miss this. His name will be called. Do you see that? Here's what that means. When people truly believe, when they really encounter Him, they will start calling Him something.

This is their thought about God. The most important thing about you is what you think when you think about God. That's the most defining issue in your life. And here what you find is that people will call him wonderful. His name will be called.

This is a personal response. And when you meet him you will say, he is a wonderful counselor. He's a mighty God. He's an everlasting father. He's the Prince of Peace.

That's what you will say when you meet the risen Lord. And that's how you'll talk about him. And you will say, you will say four things. Well, you'll probably say more than four, but there are only four here that I wanna identify this morning. First of all, you will say, he will be called, you will call him a wonderful counselor.

And The word that Isaiah uses, it means out of the ordinary. It means marvelous. It's a word that encapsulates lots of other adjectives. Omni-competence, a supernatural counselor, a multifaceted, marvelous, extraordinary counselor, like no counselor you've ever seen in this world. But you've probably noticed, you know, in many of your Bibles there's a comma between wonderful and counselor.

So you know, I think it was in, I think it was in 1982 I preached this and I preached it that he is wonderful and then he is counselor and he's mighty God and there is a comma in there he is he is simply wonderful and he is a wonderful counselor. I don't think you have to decide what this means because he's wonderful in everything that he does and he is a counselor. You can take both of those positions on this passage. On this passage. If you have Christ, you have the counsel you need.

His counsel is His counsel is infallible. His counsel is sufficient. His counsel is from his father. Isaiah prophesies in Isaiah 11, the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. That's the kind of counselor that you have.

In Matthew 7, 28 we learn that he taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes and Pharisees. And so the Lord Jesus Christ through his word he instructs us, he corrects us, He counsels us with authoritative counsel. It's the best counsel you'll ever have, is counsel from the Word of God. I love this scene in John chapter 6 where people were abandoning Jesus. He's the miracle worker.

It's astonishing. He's turning water into wine and bread from stone. He's healing thousands of people, but people are fleeing from him. They don't want to be associated with him. And then Jesus turns to his disciples and he says, Will you go also?

And the disciples replied, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life where would you go if you if you were going to renounce Jesus Christ where would you go well he is the ultimate source of counsel Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God so said told Paul to the Corinthian Church in first Corinthians 124. His counsel is wonderful. You know this is a little might be a little bit of a rabbit trail but there's a really fascinating section in Isaiah chapter 28 is 28 29 and the Lord tells us that it's God who trains farmers how to farm the plowing the harvesting the processing, the text actually says that it's God that teaches, that has taught farmers how to farm. It says this, This also comes from the Lord of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.

Even the practical things of life, like farming, God teaches his people. Well, because he's wonderful, you can never exhaust his goodness. You'll keep finding his goodness all your life long. Now he is a wonderful counselor. The world is telling you that you need a counselor.

We're living in the throes of a really harmful therapeutic culture all around us. The therapy that's available today, it can explain the cage you're in, but it never sets you free from it. You know, people use counselors as a crutch when the Word of God is sufficient. How often has it happened in your life when somebody came to you for counsel but the Word of God had already spoken about it. It was just being ignored.

You can save yourself a lot of therapeutic dollars by saturating your mind in the Word of God. So Jesus Christ functions as a counselor. And there are three ways, at least. He reveals God's will. He gives you wise, authoritative guidance.

And he directs you in righteousness and salvation. And you can say, he's my counselor. He always speaks truth to me. He was given to me by God. So do you call him wonderful counselor?

Finally, because he is counselor and wonderful at that, you will always have a way forward in everything in your life. And then he will be called, not just wonderful counselor, but he will be called mighty God. People will call him mighty God. The people who really know him, they recognize that he is mighty. The language that Isaiah uses means warrior, giant, valiant, strong, great, he's mighty God, he is a warrior, which is really interesting because it's pretty clear that the modern church wants kind of a harmless Jesus.

They don't want the lion of the tribe of Judah who destroys all of his enemies. They want gentle Jesus, soft and kind. That's what they want. Jesus Christ is a gentle shepherd, but he also is in the process of destroying all of his enemies. Jesus Christ is mighty God.

Jesus Christ is mighty God. Now this question I think it's obvious from the text. How is Jesus mighty God and the Son of God at the same time? Is there a distinction? And the answer to that question really is found in the scriptures.

The doctrine of the Trinity teaches that there are three distinct persons. The Father and the Son and the Spirit are three distinct persons. The modalists believe that there is one God with three personalities. One God, three personalities. That's a heresy.

In the doctrine of the Trinity, the Father is God, Genesis 1 1, the Son is God, John 1 1, and the Spirit is God, John 14 15 through 26. The Father is not the person of the Son. The Son is not the person of the Father. And the Spirit is not the person of the Father or the Son. They are three distinct persons with one essence.

And God is united, yes. All the persons of the Trinity are of the same substance, they are God. That's the term homo- usios that was developed in the council of Nicaea in 325 AD that Jesus Christ the Son is of the same essence of God the Father. They are three different persons yet with the same divine essence. And that's why in John 10 30 Jesus says, I and the Father are one.

That's why Paul told the Colossian Church in Colossians 2 9, for in Christ all the fullness of the deity dwells in bodily form. So Jesus Christ is God in his essence, and yet he is a different person from God the Father. And this is distinguished here. He is mighty God. He's almighty.

And because He's almighty, you never have to worry about where the world is going or even your own weaknesses in your life because God is almighty. Is that who he is to you? Is your God small? Is your God so small that he can't take care of you? He is mighty.

He is almighty. And then people will say something else. They'll say he's the everlasting father. The everlasting father. We live in a world full of people without fathers.

Now there are different ways to interpret this. Does this refer to God, He's just eternal, just, He's just eternal? I think it means this, that His fatherhood is everlasting. When he becomes your father, he will always be your father for all eternity. He is eternally a father forever.

He acts like a father on earth and in heaven. None of God's children will be fatherless. He will feed and clothe his children like a father. He will have mercy, like a father has mercy. He'll protect like a father protects.

He has patience as a father has patience. He has compassion like a father. Because he is everlasting father you don't ever need to worry about whether God will take care of you. It'd be really interesting to add up the ages of everybody in this room. How many years has God been taking care of you?

Do you think he's gonna stop like, like is this the end of the line? And he's gonna stop taking care of me because I did something stupid? No, God takes care of his people even when they do things that are stupid. Because he's an everlasting father. And then that's not all.

Those who know him will say they will call him the Prince of Peace. You know what is peace? There are different kinds of peace. There's the primary peace that Isaiah is referring to. I think he's talking about peace with God.

We have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. But there's peace between men, blessed are the peacemakers. There's peace actually in your heart that Philippians 4 speaks about, rejoice in the Lord always. And again I say rejoice. And the peace of God will, which surpasses understanding, will guard your hearts in Christ Jesus.

They're different kinds of peace. But Isaiah later in Isaiah 26 he says that you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you Because he trusts in you Trust in the Lord forever For in yah the Lord is everlasting Strength you will keep him God will keep his children in perfect peace. It's a continuous action. He will continue to keep his people in peace. For who?

For those whose mind is stayed on him. A lot of lack of peace is out there because the mind has not stayed upon him. The further your mind gets from being focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, the less peace you'll have in this world. He's talking about a fixed mind, an anchored mind. So because he's the Prince of Peace, I know that he can keep me in peace if my mind is stayed upon him.

And then in verse seven, after walking through these four or five names of Jesus Christ, the victory is proclaimed in verse 7, of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end upon the throne of David and over his kingdom to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward even forever. In other words his kingdom is unstoppable. Don't let the media tell you that Christianity is on the way. It's not His kingdom is expanding like a mustard seed like leaven the kingdom of God is spreading Across the whole world and how will it happen verse 7th the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform it. This is the Lord Jesus Christ power at work in the world.

The coming of the Son of God into the world, born of a virgin, and then crucified and died and buried and rose again. Believing in Him is the most powerful thing you'll ever do in your life. What do you call Him? What do you call Him? Is He your wonderful counselor?

Is He mighty God? Is he your everlasting father? Is he your peace? What do you call him? There's something very interesting that John Calvin wrote in the preface to the Geneva Bible in 1550.

He wrote, he actually wrote very personally about what he thought of Jesus Christ. What came to his mind. And so he was so taken by Jesus Christ that he wrote these words. He humbled himself to exalt us. He made himself a servant to set us free.

He became poor to enrich us. He was sold to buy us back, a captive to deliver us, condemned to procure our pardon. He was made a curse that we might be blessed, the oblation for sins for our justification. His face was marred to re-beautify ours. He died that we might have life.

That by him, hardness is softened. Wrath appeased. Darkness made light. Iniquity turned into righteousness. Weakness is made strength.

Despair is consoled. Sin is resisted. Shame is despised. Fear is emboldened. Debt is paid.

Labor is lightened. Sorrow is turned to joy, misfortune into blessing, difficulties are made easy, disorder made order, division into union, ignominy is ennobled, Rebellion subjected, threat is threatened. Ambush is ambushed. Assault is assailed. Striving is overpowered.

War is warred against. Vengeance is avenged on, torment is tormented, damnation is damned, destruction is destroyed, hell burned up, death is killed, mortality changed to immortality. And there he summarizes the goodness of God and the wretchedness of the world and the power of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. So He shall be called all these things. Is He wonderful to you?

Is He mighty God? Is He eternal Father? Is He Prince of Peace? And I hope you answer with two of the most powerful words in your soul. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only son, our ruler.

Would you pray with me? Father, we thank you that you sent Isaiah to explain these beautiful things to us so that we might understand the greatness of your kingdom. I praise you Lord for the way your kingdom has worked in this church and with these people, how you have saved and are sanctifying and you're rescuing us all from the works of the devil, that you turned idolaters into worshippers. You changed everything, Lord. Thank you so much, Father, for sending your only begotten Son.
