In his sermon titled 'Clip: God's Design Holds,' David Green discusses the consistency of God's creation. He uses the analogy of planting an orange tree and raising chickens to illustrate that each creation reproduces according to its kind. Green emphasizes that while there are variations within a kind, such as different types of oranges or apples, the fundamental nature of these creations does not change. He asserts that God's design ensures that an orange tree will not produce onions and chickens will not lay alligator eggs. This consistency highlights the divine order and design in nature.

If I go over to the hardware store and I buy an orange tree and I plant it, I don't have to worry that it's going to produce onions. Why? Why? Because God has made it. If I get chickens and put them in the backyard, I don't have to worry that they're going to lay alligator eggs.

Why? Because God has made them the way that they are. While we sometimes see variations in different kinds, in other words, there might be different variations of oranges, and there might be variations of different apples, and there might be variations of different chickens. We don't see any kind becoming another kind.
