Okay, I want to talk about the preservation of the beauty of womanhood. So I really appreciate Trent, you know, to take off from where you left off. Womanhood is beauty. Womanhood was designed to display a very distinctive beauty. And I want us to just understand how important it is to cherish the beauty of womanhood.

If you're a girl, to manifest its glory, to demonstrate the majesty of womanhood that God has built in God designs beautiful things look around God designs distinctive beauty everywhere you look. You think about the stars, you think about the clouds, you think about the rivers, the oceans, the plants, the flowers, the light. You have so many beautiful things that are in the world. You know, God did not want mankind to get off without understanding how beautiful he was. And so Everything he creates is just stunning.

Look at these trees out here. Go sit by that lake and just watch the water move. It's just so remarkable. In the morning, you'll hear birds chirping. It's so beautiful.

And God has designed all these things from the natural world to apples, to mangoes, to chicken, to beef, to brisket, whatever. I mean, God is just a creator of beauty and he just lavishly pours it out and he is the perfect designer and he is the designer of women he made you in the image of God and you should never forget that Whatever insecurities or fears you ever might have, you need to realize that you are a creation of God. That He knit you together in your mother's womb. It was he who made you a woman for his own glory. He did a very very good thing We live in a world where women are saying I don't I don't want to I don't want to act like a woman I don't want to be like a woman You know you have you have women who are who are modifying their body, so they don't look like women anymore.

This is such a tragedy because God is a perfect designer. And the differences between men and women are very remarkable. God actually designed women to be helpers in ways that women, that men are not. Men and women, get this, are emotionally different. They're not just physically different.

And Men are not superior in their physical differences. Women are neither superior, but they are very colorful, as Trent had just mentioned. And it's a beautiful thing. I rejoice in how women think. It's different and it's challenging as well.

But it's something that God has done. And a man should never despise the way that a woman thinks. He should understand that she is different for sure. The apostle Paul, when he talked about how the woman is a weaker vessel, he said honor her. Honor her as a weaker vessel.

In other words Esteem this glorious unique thing that happened when a woman Was made you know men men have 20 times more testosterone than a woman I could go on and on about just the physical differences between men and women. I could go on for about 15 minutes to just itemize the physical differences between men and women. And it's just astounding. I want you to open up your Bibles to Song of Solomon, chapter six. There's really a beautiful description of a single unmarried woman in Song of Solomon chapter 6.

Got that? This is about an unmarried woman. And this is, there are many love poems in the Song of Solomon. This is the 15th love poem in the Song of Solomon. And these poems are partly about women admiring this woman, this Shulamite woman.

And there are five things about this woman in Song of Solomon chapter 6 verse 10 that are that is identified and so let me read the text are you there song of Solomon 6 verse 10 who is she who looks forth as the morning fair as the moon clear as the Sun awesome as an army with banners. So that's the text. This is a picture of an unmarried woman. And the language is beautiful. And I just want to identify several elements right out of these verses.

First of all, She brings light into darkness. She brings light into darkness. You young girls, this is one of the reasons God created you. It's to bring light and beauty into darkness. You know, picture, it says as the morning, picture a sunrise.

Picture the fresh beginning of a new day with all the opportunities ahead. When a girl rises, there are tremendous opportunities. By the way, tomorrow I'm going to talk about habits of waking up in the morning. We'll get to that. I'm going to talk about habits tomorrow.

But there are particular habits that not just girls, but men as well, should have. But Here, she is as the fresh beginning of a new day. Small beginning. That's what the sunrise is, isn't it? It comes up slowly, and then it shines bright as the morning.

She brings light into darkness write that down She brings light into darkness God created you young girls To be that way in the world to bring light into darkness Second she's reflecting She's reflecting Look at the phrase, fair as the moon. Fair as the moon. The moon's light, of course, it's a reflected light. The light of the sun is reflected in the moon. It shines upon the moon.

How many of you have seen a solar eclipse? A solar eclipse is something that is getting in the way of the sun's rays, and it is the moon. But The moon's light is a reflected light. But this is actually a picture of many other things. The church's light is a reflected light.

It's the light of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, I am the light of the world. If any man walk in me, he will not walk in darkness, but he will have the light of life. Jesus Christ is the light of the world. His light shines and human beings are reflections of His light.

We are reflectors of light. We are not the source of the light, but we reflect a light that is not our own. It's the light of Jesus Christ. And so when he says, fair as the moon, he's talking about this reflected light of the Sun in the same way That a daughter is a reflected light in the same way that the gathered church is a reflected light. Because when the church gets together, you have a unique culture, you have a new community.

It's like no other culture in the whole world. And the church gathers together and they have this beautiful culture. You know, I was really struck at our conference just recently. What a remarkable culture that's developed at that conference. It's like no other.

People walk in there and they say, I've never seen a conference like this before. There's just something different about it. But I think it's because you have people that are really focused on really reflecting the light of Jesus Christ from the top to the bottom of their families, from the father to the mother to the children. And They have set their path to be a reflector of light. Peter says, if any man walk in me he will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.

So she is reflecting. She reflects the glory of Jesus Christ. This is the calling of a young girl. She reflects the glory of Jesus Christ. Write that down.

That's the second point She reflects the glory what a blessing it is When your eyes open in the morning and your first thought is oh Lord. Thank you for giving me a new day I Want to reflect your glory? From the rising of the sun until the time that it goes down. Can you imagine a more fulfilling and happy life than to live that way? She reflects the glory of Jesus Christ she is fair as the moon and then now the next phrase is clear as the Sun clear as the Sun in other words she's observable she She cannot be ignored because of her disposition.

She's noticeable and not dismissed. And This, I think, can be thought of in terms of how the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows its handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. This is the heavens declaring the glory of God.

In Psalm 19 it says that the sun, its rising is from one end of heaven and its circuit is To the other end and there's nothing hidden from its heat Clear as the Sun clothed with Christ the Sun of the SU in of righteousness Matthew Henry in his commentary he says of these young this kind of young lady they are amiable as light the most beautiful of all visible things. I was so glad Trent opened this gathering up with talking about beauty. This is such a theme in the Bible. You know, There is no more wonderful vision of womanhood in any philosophy or any religion than the Bible. In Islam, you dominate your women.

The pagans use women. The Hindus abuse women. There is no greater philosophy or religion than the religion of Jesus Christ and his church. And you know this is why the devil really hates Christianity. This is why feminism is so nasty is because they actually hate the beauty of the biblical vision and they want to destroy it don't you let it happen So Christians are like lights to the world so right she is recognizable Noticeable Its rising is from one end of heaven and its circuit is to the other end.

That is sort of the life cycle of the day of a girl. It is rising from one end of heaven and its circuit is to the other end. Think of your life like that. This is a calling from God. It's really amazing that God would call you to such wonderful things.

And then Finally, she's frightening. She's frightening. Awesome as an army with banners. She's frightening. She's not only beautiful, but she terrifies the devil.

And she is awe-inspiring, she is dangerous, she is actually dangerous to the work of darkness. She is dangerous and militant against the enemies of God. And she doesn't mind talking about it. I remember my daughters when they were young getting in debates with feminists, trying to convince them not to walk in the way of the Word of God. And these were like skirmishes that were going on with other Christian girls.

And you have this picture of this dangerous, militant Woman against the enemies of God, you know marching and procession awesome as an army with banners You know awe inspiring. She's she's making her way across the land and her flag is raised This girl knows who she is and she's not embarrassed to be a woman and she's not embarrassed to be a woman of God. And her banner is held high and she's not afraid of other women. This is one of the problems that women often have, they're afraid of one another. A lot of women dress for other women rather than for God but women are it's easy for women to be afraid of other women but this woman is not afraid and she's a little bit like Sarah you know she was not frightened by any fear, says the Bible.

You know, this is, these are pictures of what David spoke of in Psalm 144 verse 12, that our daughters may be as pillars, sculptured in palace style. Well, our culture is disfiguring daughters. Our culture is trying to erase the beauty of womanhood. And because our culture is untethered from the word of God, and it exchanges the glory of God for what is false. Somebody said this, I'll quote, our culture exchanges the glory of feminine strength for a treadmill race to nowhere.

I'm going to read it again. Our culture exchanges the glory of feminine strength for a treadmill race to nowhere. Hey, Mr. Moody and I are here to just urge every father and daughter to understand what they're doing. If daughters do not fulfill the biblical vision, the world falls apart.

A family falls apart, and that individual falls apart. You know, when the glass ceiling came down as a result of feminism, Everybody got bloody. Not just the women got bloody. The children got bloody. And the husbands got bloody.

The feminist vision is such a corruption of every good thing. Okay. Four things. Light. She brings light into darkness That was the first point second reflecting She reflects the glory of Jesus Christ Third she's recognized not dismissed and she's frightening.

And she's carrying the banner, The most powerful, the most beautiful banner that there is. The banner of godly womanhood. So, let's pray. And then I'll turn it over to you all to talk as fathers and daughters. Oh Lord, with all of our hearts we so desire that you would manifest your glory in these fathers and daughters.

I pray that you would give just wonderful conversation, words of love, beautifying words of these fathers toward their daughters and their daughters a compelling desire to reflect your glory in the ways that we have just read. Lord, I pray you'd give them wonderful discussions as they talk and spend time together this evening. I pray that their time together would be such a help to them. I pray that you would help them to just relax in one another's presence and to realize that it was you that gave them one another. It was not something that they did.

It was something that you did for their good. Amen.
